Stirling Court Hotel 3 stars

Hotel in Stirling

Located within the University of Stirling campus and set in 300 acres of beautiful parkland, Stirling Court Hotel is just 10 minutes’ drive from Stirling city centre. Good facilities, shower is good pressure, tea and coffee in the room, restaurant and bar and the food is good too and reasonable price. Only issue was the bed is on wheels so moves about away for the headboard, nothing a spare towel can’t sort out. All in all what you’d expect from a big hotel.

Broomhall Castle 3 stars

Hotel in Stirling

Set on the slopes of Ochil Hill, the 19th-century Broomhall Castle features charming rooms, some with four-poster beds. The historical city of Stirling is just 5 miles away. We stayed at Broomhall Castle for one night after visiting Edinburgh for the fringe. It was a fantastic way to end the trip after the hustle and bustle of the City. There was a delightfully spooky air to Broomhall that made the stay a lot of fun. The staff were fantastic, very friendly with lots of stories and a great cooked breakfast. I would stay again.
