Location great. We arrive before 10:00am and we were able to store our bags at the Hostel. Staff at Hostel were friendly and gave us suggestions. The Visitor information Centre is close so we went there and bought tickets for Stirring Castle. (Cheaper tickets than at the entrance of the Castle). Our large room had 2 big windows with wonderful views.

Fabulous building in a great location. Staff were helpful, polite and had a good knowledge of the area. Hostel was clean and tidy, with good sized rooms and lockers The weather was good so it was to have outside seating . Enjoyed my stay.

Great location close to the Castle, Old Jail and a short walk to the city centre and train station. Very friendly, helpful staff. I like the hot roll selection available for breakfast. Very spacious common areas with outside seating area. Property felt very safe and secure. Great value for money.

As far as a hostel goes, the Stirling Youth Hostel is the right place to crash at a reasonable price. You don't get anything fancy with your room but the beds were beyond comfortable and the showers had the most amazing pressure and plenty of hot water. We only stayed for one night on our travels through Stirling and did not take advantage of their breakfast options. The location is PERFECT for those without a car because everything is in walking distance.

It's a great location for sightseeing, and the facilities are clean throughout. If you look around, you can also learn about the history of the hostel building.
