Lovely places to eat - lovely country views - travelled by...
Lovely places to eat - lovely country views - travelled by bicycle. Lots of hills so at times you have to walk it but we enjoyed ourselves. Travelled by train would recommend making reservations for your bicycles. Ate at Egypt Mill, Casa Sabor and The Bear at Rodborough and loved the food at the Five Valleys. We planned our trip to coincide with weekly Farmer's market - this was really bustling and vibrant, as was town centre in general. Great canal walks in both directions and if you're feeling fit you can get to Stroud Brewery just 45 mins or so along the canal from the town.
