The newly refurbished Buckatree Hall Hotel is set in scenic woodland at the foot of the Wrekin in tranquil Shropshire. Start at the beginning - we had a couple of issues with our room - TV wouldn't work & shower not the best. If we had been staying just the one night we probably would have not mentioned it, but as we were there for 2 nights we did. The team could not have been more helpful. As they could not fix it at the time we were moved to another room. Very professional :-) Many thanks Nic

Very accommodating reception. Who went above and beyond to make sure we got a meal. we arrived slightly after the kitchen had closed. They man on reception asked that the kitchen open so we could eat. Clean, very comfortable rooms. Great breakfast.
On arrival was told the swimming pool was closed due to a leak. Carpet in my room was soaking wet from a previous customer flooding the bathroom Bed sheets was dirty aswell as the room cobwebs etc Shower was mouldy Toilet roll had been soaked wet and put back and left to dry Room view was looking at a bin shed. Room service was ordered and paid for and then told there was a £5 charge for tray service To top it off, went for breakfast in the morning to be told it was £38 for too basic breakfast for me and my 12 year old son, £38 for a bow of fruit for my son and a basic English breakfast. Wouldn’t stay or recommend again knowing all the other hotels within a 5 minute walk
The museums , shops and antiques places to visit and was not far away. Truffles cafe served lovely food with nice friendly staff. Telford shopping centre had a big selection of shops, eating places and pubs
The park at Telford was great for our two grandchildren with plenty of play areas and nice clean toilets. There was plenty of restaurants and cafes around the shopping centre and everywhere seemed nice and tidy.
We found Telford to be ideally situated with lots of excellent facilities and a really good transport system should you not have access to a vehicle. The local people were very helpful and friendly when out and about on foot looking for locations. A great location for a weekend break or a holiday as there's lots to see and do.
My hotel room was very nice and spacious. It was clean with plenty tea and coffee facilities. Lovely hot shower and good sized towels that were clean. The down side was I had to eat in hotel next door as being a woman alone didn't want to walk 10 minutes in the dark to find a restaurant.
We stayed in room 41 which was one of the cheaper rooms in the annex section of the old country house. It was clean and comfortable and good value for the price. The Restaurant was good and all the food was delivered piping hot on hot plates. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our visit was a late booking and very short so we did not avail ourselves of the leisure facilities. WE WOULD VISIT AGAIN. The Hall is in an ideal location for visiting attractions in the Telford area
Telford
my room was small but for two nights it was adequate...very comfy bed and plenty of breeze from the window... traffic was quiye loud but it got very quiet after 1130,,so no problem ..landlady was really very good and answered our questions to help us do what we wanted to do over the weekend ,,great time..and i would go back there next time i am in the area
The bed was very comfy the room was spacious and very clean. The bath was a little small for my 6 foot plus husband but a lovely indulgent for me. The shower was hot and fast flowing so another plus. I just wish we could of stayed longer. The breakfast was very nice too. All in all a fantastic comfy value for money stay in a very nice hotel.
Reasonably priced, comfortable hotel. The room and decor is a little dated and needs a lick of paint but otherwise very nice. In general the hotel needs a little TLC as its all a but tired looking. Breakfast was lovely, staff friendly with plenty of parking spaces. Centrally located just off the M54, overall a nice comfortable hotel.

There are not many accommodation options in this area. This place was an easy walk to the center of the city (around the train station) and where we needed to be (a boarding school nearby). The flat had everything we needed and enough heater to keep us warm. The host was flexible on the check-in time.
Telford
The location is very good but look for the school. The house is one of four next to a bungalow. A Co-op is nearby. Lovely cafe very close for breakfast. The house was very warm and comfy. Lots to do in Ironbridge and Telford. The town park in Telford has lots for families to do.
Bed and pillows were very comfy, Very handy for Telford centre and QEII Arena. Could not hear any noise during the night. Did like the fact the hotel allowed us to leave the car on the car park after checkout so we could go into the centre.
We were offered a ground floor room which suited us. Plenty of parking. Good restaurant. Location ideal for the Telford/Ironbridge area. Near to major roads. Clean and comfortable.
Comfy bed, good water pressure on the shower, nice and warm temperature in the room, the guide for the surrounding areas in the room was really nice touch.
Lovely location, nice hotel. Comfy, clean (apparently) room. We ate in on first night and the meal was nice. Breakfast was nice too.
Lovely building and location right in the heart of Telford, Ironbridge and Bridgenorth. Beautiful building and surroundings.
we liked the quietness of the hotel we were at the very back on 121 ground floor was really peaceful and a great nights sleep
The hotel is located between the station and Telford Central which makes it convenient. Staff were friendly.
