The property is a bit remote down narrow country lanes, but that is the point isn’t it! Its a good centre for reaching the north coast of Devon and Somerset or North East Devon via the link road, or Exeter and the south. We have visited several times and the property is beautifully run, and in tip top condition. Breakfast is excellent and Linda and Ian are charming hosts.

Lovely pub in a great location. Very quiet so had a wonderful nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the room had nice decor. It was spotlessly clean. We had a meal in the restaurant and the food was excellent. There was a great atmosphere with live music and lots of locals. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hartnoll Hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly, we had a lovely room which was larger than we expected as it was called a "cosy double". The food was excellent, especially the homemade bread. Locationwise it is possible to walk about quarter of an hour along a footpath to arrive at Knightshays NT property, which is very well worth a visit.

The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, to order, and delicious. When I had to leave before breakfast on the last day, they packed me a substantial lunch to take. Definitely will stay again and recommend.

    A lovely quiet place, a few tractors at the time of year we stayed, no problem with this. Bought some food at the lovely town of Dulverton for evening meal. Narrow lanes, so be careful driving around. People very friendly.

    We loved everything. The owners are the sweetest people, and made us feel welcome as soon as we got out from our car. Breakfast was amazing. Served on White tablecloth, and perfectly cooked, it was better than all the 5 star hotels that we have stayed in! It was such a lovely peaceful setting. Sad we only were there for 1 night.
