It’s a quite town so all the facilities and other activities work accordingly. For a city dweller it’s a treat to be in a nice and quiet town. However, Thornaby should promote/encourage people coming from outraged for a short stay to travel within the area as an open & clean environment is a blessing that not all have.

We were here for a visit to relatives and a visit to local train preservation society. For steam train enthusiasts several museums to visit. We were here to see the progress of a engine that was in for its 10 service. Too many places to visit in one weekend for steam enthusiasts.
