United StatesThis is a great independent hostel, warmly welcoming, cozy, and comfortable. We stayed in a six bed dorm, which had an attached toilet and shower, while we attended the Braemar Highland Games. You can trave by bus from Ballater to Braemer but be sure to get the early bus.
