Terrible experience. Triple booked so after some time we got moved to a different lodge. It was very damp and absolutely stank of mould to the point where we felt it's not healthy for us to stay there so we left. Had to book somewhere else and luckily we found a lovely little lodge which saved our holiday. The owners of this place completely disregarded our concerns and ignored completely all communication. The company showing on our credit card statement is dormant according to Companies House (Free Spirit Homes London) so possibly a scam - AVOID AT ALL COST! We are trying to get our money back.

Very late check in given and not told of this in advance, zero communication from the hosts, very poor. No internet as promised, messaged host, no response. Email from the host on the day of arrival saying thanks you for your stay’ this caused undue alarm and frantic phone calls to the host to conform our booking - no response, had to contact booking.com who confirmed error from host - unfortunately would not recommend this property at all

Close to St Ives and Carbis bay. If you dont take a car there is a bus stop at the resort. Ate at the restaurant on site, but also at nearby villages. The information book in the cottage mentioned a 20 pound fee to use the swimming and resort facilities, but I was not sure if I needed to leave money for this as this was advertised with the cottage on Bookings.com . Pretty woodland walk with play area for kids. Lovely stay.

The woodland home had everything we needed and the fresh flowers were a lovely touch. We enjoyed the muffins too! The host was prompt to reply if we had any questions and made us feel very welcome. The location is peaceful, you can hear birds in the morning and perfect for our dog. We enjoyed gorgeous coastal walks near St Ives and Godrevy. It's a great base to explore from. Thank you, we had a wonderful time!

Good location for getting round south west Cornwall. Accommodation was very nice inside and had enough room for family of four to move around comfortably. Could have done with instructions for WiFi, but I’m just being picky now. Overall good place to stay.
