Featuring woodland views, Woodland Retreat offers accommodations with outside seating, around 1.6 mi from Carbis Bay. We loved staying at woodland retreat. It has everything you need, kitchen was fully supplied . It was very Clean and had comfortable beds. Location is spot on, only 5 min drive to Hayle beach and there was bus stop 1min away that runs to the centre of St Ives. Would definitely be back.
Featuring sea views, Seaside Suite provides accommodations with a terrace and an electric tea pot, around 1.4 miles from Gwithian Beach. Everything was absolutely beautiful, the apartment had everything you could wish for and more and was in impeccable condition. Thank you to Stephanie for a lovely weekend!
Honeysuckle Cottage, Lelant in Uny Lelant has accommodations with free WiFi, 1.8 miles from Gwithian Beach. Located 1.6 miles from Carbis Bay, the property provides a garden and free private parking. Home from home. Comfortable, excellent location. A fruit bowl would have been useful.
Pebble Cottage is located in Uny Lelant. Located 1.4 miles from Carbis Bay, the property has a bar and free private parking. Loved the location beautiful cottage well presented excellent bus Link never had to use car nice and peaceful to sit out with a drink in the evening
The bungalow was kind of cute in the picture but unfortunately wasn't in good conditions as it was very old and uncomfortable. The price didn't match with offered conditions at all. The shower was broken, poor lights in the kitchen/living room; fridge with no freezer; plumbing system very noisy during the night; no WiFi; swimming pool advertised but we have been asked to contribute with £20. Power cut for couple hours.
Enjoyed our stay, wish we booked things to do but hard with a dog. watermill nice food, lula bar very nice. Easy to get to places, phone signal can be rubbish if on EE as using phone for maps when leaving the cottage. WIFI provided. avoid parking so near to ST ives as manic. would rather walk the distance.
This is a beautiful area of Cornwall and there are so many places to visit. We went to St Ives several times, which is lovely but so busy this year that it was a bit spoilt. We spent most of our time at Gwithian. The beach is huge and the sea if lovely there. Great for body boarding and learning to surf. Two nice beach cafes - Sunset Surf and The Jam Pot. Also had great Tacos at Three Mile Beach resort. Stayed on a fab campsite for our last few days called Gwithian Farm. We also visited Portleven which was a lovely village with a nice quiet beach.
Terrible experience. Triple booked so after some time we got moved to a different lodge. It was very damp and absolutely stank of mould to the point where we felt it's not healthy for us to stay there so we left. Had to book somewhere else and luckily we found a lovely little lodge which saved our holiday. The owners of this place completely disregarded our concerns and ignored completely all communication. The company showing on our credit card statement is dormant according to Companies House (Free Spirit Homes London) so possibly a scam - AVOID AT ALL COST! We are trying to get our money back.
Very late check in given and not told of this in advance, zero communication from the hosts, very poor. No internet as promised, messaged host, no response. Email from the host on the day of arrival saying thanks you for your stay’ this caused undue alarm and frantic phone calls to the host to conform our booking - no response, had to contact booking.com who confirmed error from host - unfortunately would not recommend this property at all
Close to St Ives and Carbis bay. If you dont take a car there is a bus stop at the resort. Ate at the restaurant on site, but also at nearby villages. The information book in the cottage mentioned a 20 pound fee to use the swimming and resort facilities, but I was not sure if I needed to leave money for this as this was advertised with the cottage on Bookings.com . Pretty woodland walk with play area for kids. Lovely stay.
