Experience a heaven amid the stress of everyday life, in a refreshingly hotel within a country club atmosphere. The staff were just amazing. Everyone says that they like to go the extra mile but they rarely do.n at the Bowfield, every single member of staff has this attitude. The hotel is lovelty but the staff make what could be an average experience into something very special.
Located in the town of Barrhead, on the edge of the Gleniffer Braes, Dalmeny Park House Hotel is 10 miles southwest of Glasgow. We spent one night here in a family room which was very luxurious. We received a free room upgrade which had a jacuzzi bath and the room interiors were lovely. Set in lovely grounds with a very nice modern bar and dining area over looking the gardens. Katherine and the rest of the team were fantastic and room service was delivered in less than 20 minutes! Will definitely return
Uplawmoor Hotel is a lovely place to stay, breakfast is really good, and served very efficiently but without making you feel you are being rushed. The rooms are comfortable and clean, bathroom facilities all good. The staff are very kind and friendly, the bar area is welcoming and there is a good selection of food if you require an evening meal. We are an older couple who were visiting family in the area so the location was ideal for us, we would definitely stay at Uplawmoor Hotel again.
A lovely place to stay for couples or with group. Rooms are nice and tidy and there’s a bar open till late in a hotel. Staff is pleasant to deal with. the walls are really thin so you could hear your neighbor fellas but if you’re A deep sleeper this shouldn’t affect your stay.
Staff were friendly and welcoming, nice atmosphere in the bar, my room was spacious and well equipped. Very quiet at night so a good sleep was had. A little bit out of the way but was perfect for my needs for one night.
A total pleasure from start to finish. From first meeting Paul at reception to Lorna and Megan in the restaurant all excellent a great ambassadors for the hotel. The free glass of sherry for all the guests as you go through to the bedrooms. The nice bedroom and finally the excellent breakfast served with a smile by the friendly Emma. All made our stay enjoyable.
It was quite inside and outside the hotel. Even though there was a bar in the hotel you never heard anyone going to their rooms at night. It was lovely. I eat in the hotel the food was amazing. The bus service is okay but on a Sunday not so good, but you can walk in to Neilston when the weather is good.
Uplawmoor is on the quite side of Glasgow and is only 20-30 min away. The staff are very welcoming, the service is fabulous. I have eaten in a lot of places and I would say this comes right at the top, the evening meal was truly delicious, and as it was a set menu the price was brilliant. Coming from a Yorkshire man that says something! The rooms were warm and spotless, with a welcoming nip of sherry on the way up! The wi-fi worked well and there was parking right outside the door. I would heartily recommend this place to others travelling in the Glasgow area.
