Great place to stay. The hotel is conveniently located to explore northern and west. The hotel is located in a historic building with beautiful grounds with Douglas Firs planted by Douglas himself. There is a great hiking trail available right from the hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast has a lot of delicious options. The restaurant is opened for dinner as well. We tried salmon. It was delicious. The wine selection is very good as well. The rooms are convenient, spacious and clean. There is plenty of parking on the premises.

The house was modern, clean and in an excellent location. The owners were so accommodating and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The house was in a quiet location and we were given a late check out. We will definitely return.

Everything was ideal starting with the house manual and a curated list of recommendations for activities, attractions and places to eat in the area. the breakfast was tasteful and one of the best on my visit to Scotland both the variety and quality/authenticity. Secluded and very private. The hosts had everything set very well and organized and commicared very well without being the least bit intrusive. Very clean. The title of Little Getaway is very fitting. Everything you could need or want was all set for you and any questions you might have were easily labeled and or in the welcome folder or emails. All the features were exceptional.
