Located in the center of Wells next the Sea, Bang in Wells features free WiFi and an on-site cafe. Guest rooms in the bed and breakfast are fitted with a kettle. We had a great stay. Unfortunately we arrived just before Norfolk was put into Tier 4 but thankfully we were able to stay until we could get home and everything was great. Hopefully we can stay again some day under better circumstances

Featuring a sun terrace and luggage storage space, Avocet House is ideally located in Wells next the Sea, 2.5 miles from Holkham Hall and 7 miles from Blakeney Point. The property was superbly located in Wells. Great off road parking. Very comfortable with everything you would need on holiday. A lovely house, we would definitely stay again!
A picturesque seaside with pine woods and an array of. beautiful beach huts. A traditional seaside bus to take you to the front of the pretty harbour walk is too much! Lovely quaint shops , excellent fish n chips at French’s and very welcoming staff in all retail outlets.
Very good location to explore North Norfolk to the east and west. The town itself was very quiet at times and not too many restaurants. The walk to the each is lengthy but well worth the wait with a vast expanse of sand and you can have a lovely walk to Holkham. We did around a 7 mile circular walk from Wells down the quay to the beach and then walked the beach to Holkham before coffee at the lookout cafe then into the estate and walked back to wells partly through forest and then on the main road for a mile. We stayed near the narrow gauge steam train and that was a nice experience going to the shrine at Walsingham - I was more interested in the train and my wife the shrine. Could portion for RSPB Titchwell which was around 10 miles away
attractive, beautiful setting. Excellent views and restaurants and well kept. Shame the locals are priced out of the buying market. Too many holiday lets/homes. Losing the sense of community that makes it so attractive. Crab House was fabulous! Brilliant walks, accessible, well kept. Lots to do for the fit and active.
Wells next the sea is the best place in all of Norfolk! It has a charming feel to it, beautiful beach, don’t miss the salt marshes which are visible when the tide is out. Walk to Stiffkey on the Norfolk coastal path, check out all of the shops. Don’t miss the sunsets at the beach. We ate at Sands restaurant epshich is on the Quay and The Crown which were both very good. If you’ve forgotten something, go to ‘This and That’ shop, they sell everything!
We have been visiting wells as a family for many years. It’s really well situated on the coast with easy access to lots of other places. Only problem is now parking can be an issue as lots of properties don’t have parking. Something to beware of. However we still love it.
We stayed in Wells to go to the Thursford show shortly before Christmas. We had intended to explore Wells while we were there but the weather prevented us from doing so. We did, however, drive around Wells for a little while and decided it was definitely a place worth visiting again when the weather was better. We went to Hunstanton instead! Which was windy and freezing cold but at least it wasn't raining there.
The B&B was excellent in every way. Julia made us so welcomed and she had thought of everything to make the stay a very plesant experience. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety from cereals/porridge/fruit salad or homemade compote of berries with yogurt and also hot cooked breakfast with many choices. In my opinion the best breakfast I have had at any B&B and hotel. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean.
Location in the centre of wells is excellent. Hotel is very clean. Decor in the rooms is up to a very high standard. Current Covid situation taken very seriously by owners. Location is not on a main road that makes it quiet outside without the noise of passing traffic.
Great location and really nicely furnished and fitted out. A definite luxury apartment apartment at very competitive rates compared to hotels.
The staff very friendly and helpful 👍💯. Hotel very clean gardens very well kept. Lovely atmosphere..would recommend adult only though.
Location . Also more like a hotel than b&b . Cafe food excellent
Great location, close to harbour. Good pub close by.
