The Quay Bed & Breakfast is located in Wells next the Sea and features accommodations with a shared lounge and free WiFi, 1.1 mi from Bob Hall's Sand Beach and 2.4 mi from Holkham Hall. The Quay is in an excellent location...easy to walk everywhere, even to the beach, if you want. We were cycling in Norfolk and fortunately, there was a shed where we could store our bikes overnight. Good breakfast delivered to our door in the morning. We also appreciated having a fan in the room so we could down the room - a rarity in the UK. A nice, cozy B&B.

Boasting a garden, No 52 'Sea Holly' Holkham is set in Holkham. Featuring a shared lounge, the property is located within 6.8 mi of Blakeney Point and only 1.5 mi from Wells-next-the-sea. David went out of his way to ensure we experienced a lovely break when we stayed there. The location was excellent as was the breakfast. Anchorage Wells is located in Wells-next-the-Sea, just a 2-minutes walk away from the harbor, shops, restaurant and cafes. Avril and Simon make you feel like a family member. Warm and welcoming people. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. Avril is full of local knowledge and eager to pass it on to her guests. I would highly recommend this quaint bed and breakfast.
Featuring garden views, Bakers House provides accommodations with a patio and a kettle, around 2.4 mi from Holkham Hall. The property was in a perfect location to walk easily around Wells. It was well equipped, clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property and definitely stay here again.
It was very busy we went Friday to Monday, next time will go in the week as it was too busy over weekend. If going weekend I would recommend booking meals in places you want to eat as most pubs where fully booked. There are a lot of nice take a way places, wells deli is a great little place for food, lovely little train ride down to beach which is great for the kids, they also allow dogs on, it is a very dog friendly place. We had some lovely walks, and did a sunset cruise on a little boat it was a very nice place to stay.
Very friendly and welcoming. Sea / beach a long way from the harbour. Disappointed that most beaches were so flat that it required a long walk to get to paddle in the sea proper. Wells Crab House and Sands Fish and Chips food particularly good.
Stunning beach with cute beach huts. Lovely little village. Great crabbing off the quay. Great facilities for kids as fab playground on way to beach. There is a little train that runs to the beach as it is quite far to walk.
Friendly atmosphere, pretty cottages and lovely beach and harbour. Interesting shops on your walk down to the harbour with a choice of dog friendly or no dogs areas on the sandy beach. Plenty of lovely walks right on your doorstep.
We most liked the beach and the meal in The Globe, was delicious. I would not recommend The Golden Fleece to eat as it is dirty, with toenails and food on the seating. The food was mediocre and the tables were disgusting. The service was the worst we have ever experienced. There had obviously been no training of the young staff. Wells in itself is strange. As the shops don’t open till 11am and close at 4pm. They are missing a trick there! It is overly expensive, and the car parking was inflated on busy days. We found the atmosphere quite stilted, especially in the shops, bordering on unfriendly. Even though it was busy. There was no buzz about the place. I would not recommend. There are nicer places to go.
Due to social distancing most restaurants had a reduced menu and could obviously only cater for half of the usual covers so it got rather busy at times. Lovely place to go for a few days. The beach huts on stilts were beautiful and the crab boats made the harbour look very picturesque. We were there for 3 nights and ate at a different pub/restaurant every night. All excellent. We are an older couple 65 and 68 and did have a few rests but managed the walking quite well. Mostly flat so easy to get around most places.

Good location of property. Central location for days out. Enjoyed sunset harbour tour.
