This town has a theatre the Playhouse with lots of shows music venues ecc. There are some nice walks to do along the beach or you can take many buses and reach the villages near by and walk back to town. A lot of choice for restaurant of any type from Italian (i have not tried but I would suggest Michelangelo) to Indian Fusion Thai cinese Brasilian ecc there is the Grand Pier too. I had a nice hallumi burger at The Barn but there is also a good fish and chips serving veg food opposte the Grand Pier. For people that have to fly like me it is somewhat cheaper to stay here than in Bristol and you can either take a taxi or a bus every hour even at night

Our accommodation was great, and getting there on train was no problem at all. Everything is pretty central so you don't need a car, even if you want to venture further afield there is a good bus service to various destinations along the coast, inland and further afield ( Bristol for example ). The town itself like many British coastal resorts is a bit of a mixed bag. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and eateries some more well kept and maintained than others. The pubs and bars likewise but there is pretty well something for everyone. There are a lot of youths and homeless about in the evenings and a distinct lack of police so it can feel a little intimidating but basically it was pretty safe.

We had a standard room, it was a very good price via booking.com so it was fair. Room small but lots of storage room and very good hot shower. Radiator didn’t work at all but a portable oil fired one was provided along with a blow heater. Tv was small and not wall mounted, reception was poor, we missed a film we wanted to watch. We were unaware that there was a £8 parking charge. Looking back on the paperwork, the small print quoted £6. Signs in the car park quoted £6, reception quoted £8, they agreed to charge us £6 per night

Old school B&B perfect for pre-breakfast seafront walks followed by a generous cooked breakfast. If you are looking to rekindle your childhood, this is the spot.
The location is a lovely walk along the seafront and far enough from the centre that you can simply enjoy the sound of the sea.
The staff are all incredibly friendly.
Lots of the guests during my stay had mobility issues, obviously check with the hotel before you stay, but it seems that they are well prepared in terms of access and parking was available directly in front.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming on arrival, the room was very nice and a good size great for a single guest and I would imagine good for a couple. The hotel was in a good position not too far from the town and seafront and the road outside didn’t seem too busy (or noisy) I only stayed for 2 days and 1 night and would definitely recommend it to anyone for a enjoyable stay
An impressive looking hotel from the outside and situated on the seafront. A great location, just a short walk to the beach or town centre. Our room had great views of the full length of the beach and the hotel's communal areas, such as the dining room and bar, were very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
The hotel is basically on the seafront. It's in a great location near the town centre and opposite the "Sea Monster". We stayed in a beautiful, seaview room. (Ask for "Weston Bay" to get the nicest room.) Staff were very friendly and obliging. Good continental breakfast was included. Our dog was made welcome.
Lovely size room
Comfortable bed
Only problem breakfast was cold even tho a buffet and was first in the room before it came out bacon still looked raw.....
II would stay aging but not with my children as we was woken up 3 times during the night with druken hotel guest.
Superb Hotel, high quality furnishings and decor, spotlessly clean and quiet, spacious car parking, short walk to the seafront, excellent choice of breakfast and very well cooked.
Last but not least ; lovely hosts and staff .
The room had everything I needed. A kettle, tea and coffee were supplied and there was a comfortable bed, television, shower and toilet. The hotel is right on the seafront and close to the town centre.
Parking is good, large multi storey behind the building. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Location is great, right opposite the pier on the seafront and close to town.
Breakfast choice was excellent and the evening meal we had at the RockSalt restaurant was superb. Hotel has a great position on the seafront, perfect for an early morning walk.
location and size of apartment. parking. WiFi. ability to get breakfast next door at Smiths Hotel (owners of the apartments) and to get an evening meal there too.
