Cherry Tree Guest house is located in the small village of Winsley, just 2 miles from Bradford on Avon and 6 miles from Bath. The host was very friendly. Room was spotless, bed was super comfy. Location - very quiet and peaceful, only 15 mins drive to Bath and Castle Combe. Drive to Stonehedge took a bit longer but the breathtaking views along the way make the long trip worth driving.
This Grade II listed, 18th century property offers accommodations overlooking the historic town of Bradford on Avon. The property has free WiFi. Our host, Paul was there to meet us on arrival, having obliged iwth an earlier check-in time. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed his informative compamy immensely. We would have no hesitation in booking again, secure in the knowledge that his local guidance would ensure that our exploration of the town would be maximised.

On the banks of the River Avon, Timbrell's Yard is a 15-minute drive from historical Bath. Tastefully refurbished old building in Bradford-On-Avon, with new accommodation wing. Loved the rooms, service and great quality food. Close to railway station but not obtrusively. 15 min direct train journey to Bath.
Lovely informative hosts. Amazing home baked breakfast. Cosy modern room with clean en-suite. Great location with easy train into Bath. Lovely peaceful village with excellent local pubs and food (particularly the New Inn). Can’t recommend enough, will hopefully stay again.
Beautiful place and friendly people! We visited the local New Inn for food on our first night; it was so nice we decided to go again the following evening. There is also the Cross Guns pub, which sits on the riverbank, which is perfect for a relaxing tipple and people watching. Westwood has many hidden footpaths and the roads are quiet, so it is safe and easy to get about. With the Kennet and Avon canal running through the village, you can walk/cycle into Bath centre or Bradford upon Avon, at your leisure, with several watering holes on the path.
Westwood is an excellent B&B with welcoming hosts. Breakfast was gorgeous with a good choice. There was homemade bread & muffins. The village of Westwood is charming & situated near to Bath, so very convient for visiting the city without being in the hustle and bustle. Thoroughly recommend this accommodation.
