Holiday Inn Express - Wigan offers accommodation in Wigan, located at Martland Park. Free WiFi and complimentary on-site parking are provided. Fab beds, great sized room, small menu but really well cooked and presented. Only criticism would be there was nowhere in the bathroom to put a make up bag, oh and when you ran the shower the floor up to and including around the toilet was flooded - so wet feet if you wanted a wee .
Set in Wigan, a 20-minute walk from DW Stadium, The Brocket Arms Wetherspoon has a garden and rooms with free WiFi access. Clean and well maintained. Convenient location.
Situated in Wigan, 3.9 km from DW Stadium, The Charles Dickens offers accommodation with a terrace. Free WiFi is available. Guest rooms in the hotel are fitted with a kettle. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Building has/is being refitted and redecorated and looks nice and smart. The bedroom was nice, clean and functional with freeview tv. Towels, soap, shampoo, tea, coffee were all provided. There is parking space for only three vehicles at the back but I had no problems finding parking outside the pub which was free Saturday evening/Sunday morning. The staff did warn me when I checked in that there would be loud music but would finish at 00.00hrs.
Amongst idyllic countryside and only 2 minutes’ drive from J27 of the M6 motorway and is surrounded by the Lancashire countryside. excellent choice ,good service

A nice little town, and the bus station is quite good, plenty of places to eat, some nice architectural buildings, I would to see some development on the Wigan pier, it could be a bit of a tourist spot, it's neglected a bit with some old buildings boarded, I like main park
Not a typical tourist choice but a good solid example of a proper traditional northern English town. Got some good pubs and decent restaurants. Easy to reach from Manchester airport on the train so if you are looking for real northern England Wigan is a great stop.
Typical northern town.. lots of pubs and a few places to visit. I went to the DW Stadium to watch a football game.. nice stadium. Locals are really friendly.. can’t go wrong with northerners. Been lots of times to Wigan over the years. Will go back again.
The accommodation was the perfect distance from the town centre and all amenities . The locals and staff from our leisure event were extremely friendly and accomodating. A very friendly and vibrant town
My Son and l have been performing at the Wigan Live Festival for the past 5 years 3 of them is at the Wigan Central it's also easy reach for Restaurants, shopping, and Wigan is the place to be for a Festival.

The location was great, everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful. When I arrived I needed to leave my luggage there until I could check in, I know it's not a big deal that this was ok, but the fact that it was painless and well handled made me happy. At this point I will probably try to stay at the New Charles Dickins whenever I'm in Wigan. Thanks guys!
