We LOVED everything about this property! The room is even more beautiful and comfortable than the pictures suggest. Even the walkway to the room is lined with beautiful plants and woodwork. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was delivered in baskets to the front door in the morning. And the fact that dogs are welcomed is an added bonus:). But the best part of our stay was meeting Kate! She is a very warm, genuine and beautiful woman who seems to truly enjoy hosting guests in her lovely accommodations. Thank you Kate—we hope to return.

The layout was great! Modern and cosy and had everything that we needed in the space for a night including a welcome pack and more than enough biscuits and tea / coffee / milk! Super comfortable beds and the hand soap smelt amazing!

Rooms spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms with huge bath. The cooked breakfast was really good, also with vegan options. They were very accommodating to our 18 month old son, and he loved all the space to explore. Couldn't use outdoor space due to atrocious weather but cosy inside.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hartnoll Hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly, we had a lovely room which was larger than we expected as it was called a "cosy double". The food was excellent, especially the homemade bread. Locationwise it is possible to walk about quarter of an hour along a footpath to arrive at Knightshays NT property, which is very well worth a visit.

beautiful old pub in a truly beautiful village. Food, drink, staff and accomodation all great. Accomodation is in converted stables to the rear of the pub, very tranquil. We will definitely stay again

    Lovely quiet ground floor room with all the facilities you would want. Good size outside space to sit and eat etc. Kate was a superb host. Breakfast amazing as far as I was concerned. I didn't really go anywhere else around Willand as I was happy staying in the room, but there are some beautiful places nearby to eat. Just wished I had booked a longer stay!

    Quite possibly the worst place I have visited.

    Quite possibly the worst place I have visited. Avoid the Rydon House Bed & Breakfast, unless you are willing to drive around lost and unable to locate the property, mask up, and have your breakfast served on a tray and left on the floor outside your room. The town is in a sorry state, no character or charm. The residents look as miserable as the area. There’s nothing to do, nowhere to sit and enjoy the ambience, basically because nothing of any enjoyment exists there.
