Proper “inn” style where you arrive into the bar and the rooms are at the back. The food is excellent - great British basics like steak and ale pie! The staff are really friendly and kind. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the location is the heart of historic Hampshire with beautiful countryside and many walks and attractions around. We got a bed and a treat for our dog and the whole hotel is just made for families with kids, our 4-months old was loved by everyone in the hotel, could swim in the pool for the first time.
