Hotel in Worthing
Superbly located for Worthing town center, 19th-century Chatsworth Hotel is a family-run, Grade II Listed building with Georgian frontage overlooking Steyne Gardens. The room was great. Staff helpful and friendly. Looks like they have refurbished the hotel - new carpeting and really up-to-date bathroom which was very clean. A very good experience and I will book with them again on my yearly visits to England.

Excellent overnight stay, we were extremely lucky with weather for November but beautiful sunny day.but cold. Great atmosphere in Worthing and people very friendly. Terrific choice of good restaurants and shops.
Worthing is definitely on the up. Plenty of Bars and Restaurants and most are looking smart and pleasant. Excellent shops in the centre of town and lots of small towns around it to visit. Arundel is just a few miles away. Nice place to visit, but the parking can be a nightmare. At least there are a few multi-stories around.
Fantastic bustling seaside town. Great pier with wind break made of individual stained glass panels. Pebble beach, long Esplanade with plenty of seating. Cosmopolitan town with independent shops, cafes, restaurants and a weekly market. Long weekend definitely not long enough, coming back for at least a week next time!
There is quite a bit to do in Worthing! The pier is worth going on and the beach, though shingle is clean! The town is a short walk from hotel with lots of the usual shops! You don't need a car as there are buses along seafront, near hotel that go to Brighton or Littlehampton the other way as well as other buses in the town!
Worthing is a pleasant and reasonably quiet seaside town. The town is clean and tidy (unlike nearby Brighton which is very busy and as a result quite scruffy). Worthing has nice parks, good restaurants (try "The Fish Factory" for excellent fish). It feels very safe, if it is a downside (which for me it is not) it has a high proportion of retired residents which means that it is quiet. The beach is pebble and clean and level with the road. The promenade is great for a gentle bike ride using one of the rental bikes available for hire. If you want to visit either Shoreham by Sea or Brighton the Coastline bus service is a convenient way to travel.
This is not the loveliest part of the UK's coastline but a nice place to visit nevertheless. Staying at Highdown means you an have the best of both worlds - a trip to the coast with a quiet Downs retreat just up the short lane from the A259
Worthing
A good use of space for a small flat, with the benefit of outside space.Well equipped and suited our needs for family visit. Key code box worked well.Yards from station so would suit anyone arriving by train, around a 20min walk to Worthing seafront. Not the prettiest part of town but convenient. We will definitely be back.

Lovely modern, small room, but had everything we needed. Located opposite a lovely cafe/tea shop. 3 pubs in the village, a fine dining restaurant, an Indian restaurant and a hotel/restaurant. Beautiful village about 10-15 minutes from Worthing, but lovely friendly people that made us feel so welcome and at home
