We didn't really see much of Yoxford itself as we visited other places in the area. My husband went out for long walks early in the morning and said it was lovely. Yoxford and the Copperbeech Bed and Breakfast is well located for visiting Aldeburgh and Southwold and various other places along the coast and inland. Lots of good pub restaurants within a few minutes drive.

Being on a main route it is easier to get to lots of different locations and specific attractions in the local area. We didn't really explore Yoxford itself as so many interesting places nearby, Sutton Hoo, Minsmere, The Maltings, Orford, Dunwich and Framlingham Castle being the attractions we visited. Only downside is, it is busy because of things mentioned above. You can't have it all ways!

A lovely little Suffolk village.
A lovely little Suffolk village. It has some interesting houses, thatched wooden shelter in the middle of the village and an amazing architectural church. It does have two pubs, but only one was open, which had to book as it is very popular and the food is very good. Although, you have to watch where you sit, as some locals think the pubs stool is theirs and no-one else can sit on it!! It has an antiques centre just outside the village, which is excellent to have a wander around.

A pleasant village full of quirky and characterful old...
A pleasant village full of quirky and characterful old buildings. A bit of an antiques hotspot, as I noticed quite a number of such shops along the High Street and beyond. Several pubs within reach, all serving food. Village shop open 7 days a week. Very handy for RSPB Minsmere, and the surrounding countryside.
