Lia the host is an amazing person, with exceptional hospitality, and she is a great cook, her breakfasts are amazing! Real homemade Georgian food that is tastier than any restaurant we tried. She is eager to help, did our laundry when we asked about a washing machine , free of any charge . Arranged us a driver who knew the area and took us everywhere for very affordable price. We felt like we are staying in a loving relative’s house during our visit!

The staff is very welcoming, Levan is very friendly, welcoming and he makes you feel at home. He's also a chef and the food made by him is VERY tasty. The view from our room was breathtaking. Sighnaghi is worth to visit.
Sighnaghi is worth to visit. Unfortunately during my overnight stay, it rained a lot 100 percent. We couldn't see nothing about the town in the next day. But the evening we arrived we walked through the city and it was a nice small cute little town. It's worth to visit. Go check the monastery that is nearby. We missed to see due to the rain.

For me it is a town of love in Kakheti.
For me it is a town of love in Kakheti. We visited it 3 times: in spring, summer and winter and it was lovely every time. Tasty food in all restaurants we tried and good home wine in all guest houses where we stayed.
Signaghi is an old town on the top of hill surrounded by the wine valley. That is why it is a good place not only for vacation, but also for a marriage. There is a very beautiful, small and cosy marriage hall and after the ceremony you can just go for a walk in the town to do nice photos, because the town saved the fortress wall and old church. There are several houses for a rent where you can stay with guests and of course there are restaurants if you want to have a dinner after ceremony there.

Great views of the mountains. In winter its warmer than Tblisi.
The locals are laid back. No chance you can find coffee at 10 in the morning. No decent Americano can be had in this place.
The town opens after 10.30 am or 11.

We were there mid October at the hight of the wine harvest.
We were there mid October at the hight of the wine harvest. It is a great time to visit Sighnaghi! There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, and lots of things to see. It is a perfect place also to start excursions into the neighbouring villages and the wine lands. Overall a very relaxed and totally hassle-free atmosphere that really invites to stay longer. Fantasic views also from Sighnaghi into the Alasani valley.

Sighnaghi is one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen.
Sighnaghi is one of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. We stayed at Nana's Guesthouse which we would highly recommend. The house is lovely and Nana was really helpful. We ate at Pheasant's Tears and it was an incredible meal and wine tasting. The views from the castle walls are worth exploring as well. I would love to stay longer and walk around the city more, as well as visit more wineries. We visited Cherkeza's Zedashe on the recommendation of Nana who set up our visit, and really enjoyed learning about traditional kveri winemaking while we tried some excellent wines and chacha. This would be a great place to visit to see a small family winery in Kakheti!

First, owner is very warm and friendly upon our check-in, he gave great suggestions in dining. Hotel is in great location with good bakery, restaurant and cafe just around the corner. Balcony is sweet with good view. Room is spacious and very clean. Bed and mattress are comfortable too. Highly recommended for a night to enjoy Sighnaghi.
P.S weather and view were good when we arrived but we didn’t take pictures. Photo of balcony shared here was taken the day we left which was rainy.

We liked the bed which was super comfortable, the shower was always hot having good pressure and our hostess was very accommodating and kind. She stayed up late to welcome us and cooked dinner. Also she organised transport back to Tbilisi at very short notice. If you don't speak Georgian she and you and can use a translating app. The breakfast was filling if a little plain.

Comfortable hotel in the middle of Sighnaghi, our room was very big, with a small balcony with stunning views over the Alazani valley...unfortunately no furniture was provided to sit there. The beds are huge, but would be more comfortable with mattress toppers. Nice terrace to have breakfast if the weather is good, nice pool downstairs with a view over the valley as well.

Generous and helpful hosts who welcomed us with watermelon and their home produced wine. Communal dinner on the terrace was good value with plentiful, tasty Georgian food and lots of wine. Owner is very friendly and nice person, he has own Wine cellar with very good wine and also restaurant where we enjoy delicious food.
