I've travelled around Georgia a lot over the past few years and can confidently say that my stay at Guesthouse Leno was one of the best guesthouse experiences I've ever had. After spending the day hiking from Ushguli, I was greeted by a warm host, an adorable puppy, and a sweet child that made me feel quite at home. In the evening we talked for a long time about life, Svaneti, and Georgia as a whole. This guesthouse truly reminded me of why I love Georgia so much: its people and the wonderful surrounding nature. If you want to spend some time with a real, warm Georgian family, I recommend that you stay here. Additionally, the food was very tasty and plentiful, and I slept well. When I am back in Svaneti I will be sure to stay here again!

Nice modern clean hotel, helpful staff, tasty breakfasts. A bit far from center of Mestia, but with the car no problem and as I know the transfer is available as well. Very beautiful view from terrace, nature and mountains around. Pet-friendly, we were staying with the cat. Very good stay, can recommend it.

We took a risk on a property with only a couple reviews, and it paid off. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with a shared balcony/porch to hang out on, that would probably be really nice an a warm day. The bathrooms were good. The star of the show is the living room/kitchen, which is beautiful, cozy, filled with natural light, has a big comfy table next to the large windows, and is heated by the stove that always seem to be cooking fresh bread. It was a lovely place to hang out, and the drying rack behind the stove was a game changer for our cold, wet hike. Breakfast and dinner were yummy, and the hosts were nice. The grandmother played music for us and eagerly chatted with us over meals, even though the language barrier
