Hotel offers a perfect combination of proximity to beach and relaxation (No loud restaurants next door). Pool area is also much nicer than in photos, meaning grass and trees are closer, you don’t get the feeling of being surrounded by concrete. Most of pool is quite deep, so you can swim around too. You have the option to lounge by the beach or take a shaded chair under the trees with grass around or you can just stroll 20 more steps to reach the sandy beach area with more loungers and umbrellas which you can enjoy all day for price of a coffee or more you wish to order from bar. We walked along Agia Marina further up and sections can be more pebbly (even found a stretch with seaweed). So beachfront of Eden Beach Hotel is positively clean, sandy and welcoming. Rooms get cleaned every day. Very friendly and chill bar staff and receptionist.

The Vergina Hotel was extremely helpful in the whole reservation and our stay. The staff welcomed us and were always available if needed. A beautiful vacation for our first visit to Crete! A definite home away from home!
