Perfect hotel if you want to hike or even start the E4. The room was very very very clean and the staff where super friendly. The interior was quite outdated but if you use the hotel for your hikes, it will serve your needs for a OK to good value. For normal stay, please check the pictures and ask yourself if you are OK with it or not. For the E4 out there, it is very close to your starting point and the supermarket near the train station also has butan gas canister.

Modern, clean and everything you need but no kettle Good amount of parking for sea front property, wifi very good. Fantastic location for the beach and restaurants Helpful hosts. Had to put heating on 15 minutes before a shower which saved wasted energy.

Spacious and exceptionally clean apartment with regular daily cleanup. Central A/C and very comfortable beds made my stay pleasant even during the hottest days of July. Local beach is just a few minutes away and kids loved it. There are also few bars and restaurants few minutes of walk from hotel with quite affordable prices. Panos and Maria are very friendly and professional hosts, and I truly enjoyed my stay in Alkistis.

    The place is not to heavy on tourists, they and we mainly come for the Vouraiko train (must see!). It would have been great to have known upfront that the seats on the train are not many so booking is necessary.

    The place to catch the railway up the mountains to Kalavryta...

    The place to catch the railway up the mountains to Kalavryta. It also has a limited rail service to Athens and is close the the main Pelopponees motorway. It is very much off the tourist map and the town offers little in the way of attractions. It is however ideal for those wishing a quiet stay. Not a place to entertain children.

    It was a quiet clean venue with close by restaurant facilities near to the beach. We were out of season and it only opened at weekends. The main tourist attraction of the rack railway was not operating due to a land slide blocking the line.

    I liked every thing We stoped in Diakopto on the way back from Lefkada . It was the best place for the end of our trip. Chrysta was so nice and even helped me with a problem i had. I got a parking ticket in Athens . She actually took me to the post office and helped me with this . The room was beautiful, high quality furniture, facilities and cleaning; new high end bathroom, great sofa, games for children, new high quality washing machine and dryer, new equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and more

    The hotel was very clean, with some beautiful views. Nice little property, made very beautifully. The owner and their family is very very helpful, sweet, and takes great care of the guests. They made sure everything was available at any time. The rooms are really nice too, equipped with a fridge and stove too. Its very close to the marina, beach, and the supermarket. Restaurants closeby, and a pool too. Will highly recommend, and I hope to visit again soon!

    Service was excellent, friendly, and always helpful, I can not say enough good things about the staff. The hotel was in a very nice location. The restaurant downstairs had amazing food. Loved it everytime we ate there. Hotel service was 5 stars. Helped with any we asked of them. Thank you very much.

    The property is conveniently located close to the sea, the room was small, but it was clean, stylish and had everything we needed. We got the key from a locked box and never met the owner, but she was very helpful and responsive to messages. Bonus: the little tavern right next to the hotel.

    Clean hotel 5 minute walk from the train station. We had a balcony which allowed us to do some washing that dried very quickly. Ideal spot to stay whilst going on the Diakopto to Kalavryra train.
