As someone with gluten and lactose intolerances, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of options available. I had the best swordfish grill at Sizzle N' Grill - picture attached - highly recommend them! The owner and whole team were lovely, hospitable, flexible with my diet, and always happy to help. Parthenon and Ambrosia also offered great food with plenty of choices for both pescatarians and meat lovers. Disappointed with Kalamaki itself! Didn’t get the Greek vibes! The best restaurant by far was Pandesia! Warm welcome and excellent food, their Greek nights were tremendous fun! Kalamki strip is about a mile long with plenty of choice of cafes/bars/cocktail bars/sports bars/restaurants mainly on each side of the street. There are lots of opportunities to book excursions, hire bikes/cars etc from the businesses along the strip. The beach is about a 15-20 walk. Buses run along the strip to take you to other resorts e.g Laganas (which you can walk to approx 40 mins) or e.g to Zante Town. Taxi ranks available. There is an excellent adventure golf facility with 2 x 18 hole courses (quite challenging), approx 150 metres from the main road, which are managed and run by D and B's Restaurant - which incidentally serves an appetising range of food and drinks and is best known for its ribs!Guest review byLynneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Kalimaki is a beautiful relaxing destination with lovely bars and restaurants with friendly staff. Every place we ate in provided good quality food with a relaxing atmosphere and you were never rushed to vacate your table. It is a very safe place to walk around. Kalimaki beach with the restaurant is absolutely beautiful with calm shallow water and just shouts for you to get in and enjoy, we were lucky to see two turtles swimming when we hired a pedlo. The main town is beautiful with lots of cafe bars and restaurants, the shops are touristy but great for a walk. The oldest olive tree is something you must visit.
