We had an excellent stay at Enastron! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as family , Roula and Niko went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was clean, tidy, beds were very comfortable and the wifi was excellent! The daily breakfast buffet was also wonderful, many treats to choose from including homemade jams. Roula went beyond expectations to ensure she had Gluten free options for myself, while also going out of her way to make a special homemade Greek pastry that our daughter loved when she tried it the first day, so she could have it again for before we checked out. Excellent hotel!

The little hotel or Inn more appropriate, is exquisite from all points of view. Location is superb, great views of Kalavrita and the surrounding mountains. One wakes up in the morning with the most amazing views. The owner lady she is great (I do apologize I cannot remember her name). She is always present to help with an information about the places to visit, to eat or just to have a nice conversation. The rooms are big, enough for 3 adults or the family rooms more than enough for a family of 4. Clean, good bed mattress, great facilities, hairdryer, towels, everything in the bathroom accessories one would need. Even a small fridge, water heater for tea or coffee. The breakfast is simple but delicious. Large parking lot with easy access to and from town. Is approximately 3km from the center of Kalavrita up on the mountain. Perfect location. Overall perfect 5 stars for winter and summer. 😊🌸🩵

    The town is a tourist base.

    The town is a tourist base. Not particularly interesting or pleasant. We only went for the railway trip, but unfortunately it was cancelled on the two days we were there, due to falling rocks on the line. This doesn't happen very often apparently...we were just unlucky. There are cave lakes to visit but we didn't do that.The car journey to the town is wonderful both ways - from Dimitsana and Diakopto.

    Lovely town with wide spaces, friendly people and some compelling history attached to it from the Holocaust and the Greek Independence . Great meal at a local restaurant that was delicious and very traditional. Unfortunately it is difficult to get around without a car and taxis are way too expensive. To get to Ayia Lavra which is 4 kms away they wanted 20 euro up and back. In the end we didn't go to any monastery. They should have buses that go up and back, at least during the tourist season

    Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History...

    Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History important sites, amazing nature walks and hike, lovely very affordable food and welcoming people. Even if you don't ski, as it is known for the ski resort, there are lots of things to enjoy. I will definitely revisit as 3 days at Kalavrita were barely enough.

    Kalavrita is a nice town (bigger and more lively then expected... but again not a big town). We found a good restaurant offering a big variety of Greek food. When we were there after the mid of August there was a nice concert in the main square and there were many people around. The shops were opened as well. We saw the orthodox Monastery of Kalavrita (it is free) and I recommend the visit, there was a nice atmospheare.

    Kalavrita is a nice get away.

    Kalavrita is a nice get away. You don’t have to go to ski, just being in the quaint town it’s perfect. Strolls, eating out, there are some awesome places to eat. You can retreat in the warmth of your room. Read, chill or just watch a good flick. Also there are places to see that are not far.

    We visited the Holocaust museum, that is realized in the real original school building where Nazist soldiers activated the massacre of Kalavitra inhabitants. Very well organized, effective, emotional Then, we took the opportunity to jump on the cog train towards Diakopto, and to experience the unique, beautiful and unforgettable walk along the railroad path, with magnific view on the Vouraikos gorge and river. Excellent dinner at "To Spitikou", with very good fresh Greek food and warm welcom by the host
