B52 was a bar before it got converted to an airbnb. We loved the place. The location is amazing. The water just in front of the apartment is amazing. It is just walking distance from very nice restaurants and cafes. The apartment was super clean and big enough for 4 even 5 people. There are 2 separate toilets and showers, a big kitchen and a living room, there is a terrase that we have spent most of our time during our stay. You can even watch the sunrise from the apartment. There is no beach in front of the apartment, but there are couple of decks that you can use, one of them belongs to the cafe next door. And they allow you to use it. The water was super clean and sandy… Everything was perfect for us. At last Sofia the owner was the best, she was super friendly. And we will definitely come back. I recommend anyone who is looking for a slow relaxing holiday with an amazing sea in front.

Really enjoyed staying at the property, the host is fantastic - we arrived pretty late and been given instructions how to find the property and were met by the host which was great and super helpful. The property is in fantastic condition and everything is available for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend you to choose this property over others. Thank you to the host for some local treats produced by his family!

    Kefalos is great if you want the quieter holiday.

    Kefalos is great if you want the quieter holiday. There is always a breeze so very popular for windsurfing but the days are long and hot with sunshine for about 13 hours so you will appreciate it. There are loads of places to rent cars, quads etc and the island is small so give it a try.

    It’s a quieter beach with a relaxed and laid back feel.

    It’s a quieter beach with a relaxed and laid back feel. Some tavernas along the waterfront. Lots of dubbed available and not crowded during my visit in mid August. Supermarkets nearby. Bus is regular between Kos town, and Kefalos every couple of hours during summer. Hire cars available.

    Kefalos is nice, quiet place to stay if you are looking for relax and water activities (swimming, wind-surfinfing...). Kefalos village offers a great view over the island. Quite good connection wit other beaches, Kos town or airport by bus.

    Kefalos is very run down. Lots of derelict buildings. Almost empty in October even though it was still good weather. Most restaurants closed - the few that were open were good enough - stick with the fish - octopus quite tough and chicken kebabs awful

    A short drive from the airport Kefalos offers a lot. There are many lovely beaches, boat trips and other activities. We ate very well. If you like to cook it’s a bit tricky to find local meat and fish. We did find the butcher in the town who was incredibly helpful although we never did get the goat we wanted. Finding fish proved impossible- even going to the harbour at 7am on one occasion. The local winery does a very good tasting.

    Kefalos is a wonderful destination for a quiet, relaxing and sun-filled holiday. There is a great selection of restaurants, all serving delicious and very reasonably priced food. The beaches are lovely, although not all sandy. I stayed at Bill & Mike apartments and would highly recommend it. The location is very quiet and peaceful, but not too far from the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets. Bill, and his wife Eva were perfect hosts. They are both so very kind and welcoming. They made me feel like family. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. No pool or restaurant but both were available at Bill's brother's complex, just a minute's walk away. I would happily return to Bill and Mike and recommend it to family & friends.

    We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Sydney Hotel and I have to say this was an absolute gem of a find. The room is exactly as described and has a “Casa Cook” feel about it. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, our breakfast waitress Varvara was amazing. The bar/restaurant area had a real vibe about it and although we had read about noise in the room we never heard a thing. We will definitely be returning.

    Incredible hospitality, the manager/receptionist was very helpful in every question we had. She is a local and knew exactly where to point us and what to recommend. Location cannot be beaten. The hotel is right on a perfect, quiet, almost empty beach even in high season. Water is perfect, clear, and offers beautiful views. If you are looking for the perfect, relaxing stay with access to the more remote parts of Kos, look no further.

    Lovely hotel situated a 10 minute walk from the gorgeous beach, long strip, or 20 minutes up the hill to the little town and views. The beach at Kamari is stunning with some excellent restaurants (Sydney & Faros) and some lovely little beach stretches with loungers. The resort overall is quiet but with lots of restaurants and a couple of bars.

    Absolutely perfect for our short stay in Kefalos. The studio was immaculate and so peaceful after the busy Kos Town. Breakfast was delicious, home-made and a massive choice. The owner takes huge pride in delivering a quality stay. 3 minutes away from the bus stop and the same to the beach. Perfect.
