First thing that got our attention was the modern and minimalistic architecture. The facilities were super clean and very space efficient. The balcony was spacious and cozy. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, and they gave us tips for great local places to visit. Would definitely come back!

Kissamos hotel was one of our favorite stays ever.🧡 Located just a few minutes walk from Kissamos center, close to Balos, Falassarna and Elafonissi beach (top 3 beaches in Crete!), walking distance to bakeries and stores, with parking and pool. This is family owned business, owners are extremely friendly, always available for all questions and requests. Rooms were clean and we had everyone we need for a perfect stay. I would gladly recommend everyone to choose this property for they stay in Crete and we would definitely come back.

A kind and attentive staff without exception that fullfilled any extra asks that we had (extra pillows, room orientation, lunch box on the last day instead od breakfast, a new sun umbrella provided to take away so that we have it once we get to Balos or other beaches, hotel sand beach very private and well equipped with comfy sunbeds and high quality sun umbrellas, rooms cleaned daily).

    Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local charm. The nightlife was a pleasant surprise, with cozy bars and lively tavernas where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Evening walks through the town square and the nearby streets filled with local shops and traditional products were some of the highlights of our stay. It's a great place for couples looking for a laid-back yet authentic Cretan experience.

    There is an instagram picture worthy and tasteful Gramboussa Restaurant in the village Kaliviani with amazing service. The village is authentic, with historic buildings and a special aura. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to stop in Kissamos.

    Kissamos itself as a town is nothing special but it has some seafront tavernas and its location makes it a good base to explore the local area - in particular to take a boat trip around to Balos bay and lagoon which is highly recommended, including a stop at Gramvousa island to walk up to the castle. It's also a short drive over the hill to Falasarna bay for a closer nice beach option with sunbeds. Kissamos beach is rather scraggy looking compared to other more scenic options locally!

    Kissamos is not really a tourist town - yet, but has all that you need for self-catering and a reasonable selection of tavernas and cafes. It is ideal as touring base. A car is pretty much essential though there are buses. Near the Hermes hotel there is a lovely sandy beach plus useful tavernas and cafes. Safe water in the small bay makes it good for children.

    The immediate area to Captains Beach is quiet and unspoilt. Perfectly located to a quiet beach perfect for swimming. Also a good location for getting the boat to Gramvousa and Balos which we did.For more action and places to eat Kissamoss is approx 5k away.

    Very Cool modern appartment 5 minutes from the Kissamos’s beach and in a strategic place to organize visits to the main beaches of West Crete. The appartment is big and it has everything you need. The owners Kallia and George are two fantastic guys very polite and friendly. They gave us a warm welcome The appartment is close to the Kissamos’s center but in a very quite area. Very relaxing place. This is a real 10/10. Recommended

    The hotel is situated in an ideal location. A great base for exploring the north-eastern part of Crete. Service at the highest level. Very friendly and smiling from early morning until late evening. Breakfasts are very tasty and plentiful, delicious coffee. I think that our stay at the Aphrodite hotel was the most pleasant one we have ever stayed in. We will definitely come back.

    A new, very clean hotel with comfortable rooms and polite staff. Nice breakfast by the pool, plenty of space for car parking, reasonable prices. Excellent location - close to all popular beaches in west Crete + plenty of option for dinner along the local waterfront within a short walking distance.

    I had a marvellous stay at the Regina Hotel. My room was cozy, clean, and had a fantastic view of the sea from the balcony. The hotel’s proximity to the beach and local attractions made it easy to explore Kissamos while enjoying peace and relaxation at the hotel.
