Yfes translates to "textures". This luxury hotel lives up to it's name! Sitting above this beautiful deep blue Agean bay, away from the hustle and bustle, it provides a wonderfully relaxing getaway. The white, smooth walls of the building contrasts boldly against the carved-out cliffs where they are perched.  The comfy deck cushions sit aside the picturesque infinity pool. We enjoyed 4 nights here during their first week in operation. The staff are very pleasant and the small restaurant/bar has delicious Greek food.   If we ever return to Kythnos,  we will be glad to stay here again.

I really liked this hotel and the room with a balcony overlooking the harbor. Very unique rooms, good wifi, perfect location near the ferry dock as well as restaurants and car rental shops. I definitely recommend it.

    Very beautiful island, nearby to Piraeus and Lavrio ports (approx. 3hrs from Piraeus and 1 1/2 hours from Lavrio). Great food, friendly people, can satisfy almost everyone, either looking for peace, restaurants, bars and some nightlife.

    We had a wonderful time at this property.

    We had a wonderful time at this property. The location of the house is just perfect — peaceful, calm, and with absolutely stunning views. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Christos was incredibly kind and welcoming; he really stood out as a host. The highlights of our stay were definitely the location, the comfort of the house, and the overall tranquility. Highly recommended! I didn't like that Booking didn't warn that there was a state tourist tax supplement, that it had to be paid on the spot, and that there was no prior notice.

    Kithnos is relatively underdeveloped for tourism.

    Kithnos is relatively underdeveloped for tourism. Sure, there's all the usual tourist traps and gift shops ... but around that is a lot of geniune Greek island culture you can get into easily. Some lovely beaches! Be aware that attractions aren't well signposted and google maps aren't THAT accurate! We will return!

    A lovely island in the Cycladic complex, less than 2 hours away from Lavrio Port! Beautiful, exotic beaches for all tastes!🤩 A vast array of tavernas and restaurants offering a variety of quality, super yummy dishes!😋 Accommodation offered has been vastly upgraded overall this past decade or so! On the downside though, Kythnos is following the trend of becoming a rather expensive choice for many of us seeking reasonably priced getaways for our holidays...☹️

    A place for relaxation.

    A place for relaxation. There are a lot of beautiful beaches with clear blue waters, but the road for each of them is quite rough. The capital is amazing, cute and easy to walk alleys, with friendly locals and really tasty food!

    Great island with several wonderful beaches (some "organised" - eg Kolona, Apokrousi, some pristine and without facilities eg Gaidouromandra). Need a car to get around. Excellent food with a lot of local produce (a lot of excellent meat, fish and vegetables). Avoid August if you can - it gets rather crowded.

    The location is perfect, very close to Episkopi beach where the best beach bar of the island is located (POUNTAKI). The hotel is also located very close to the main port of Kythnos, Merichas (4-5 minutes drive). Built on the slop going down to Episkopi beach, offers a wonderful view, especially during the sunset. Private pool is small but very nice and being cleaned daily. Generally the hotel is very clean. I loved the minimal disign of the room, which was very nice and spacious.

    We felt our shoulders drop and worries melt away the moment we arrived at YFES. We loved every moment of our stay, starting with a very kind upgrade to a room with a hot tub and we really loved the pool and the private beach. Ariadne and Ilias made our stay so memorable that we can’t wait to come back again. If you’re looking for a tranquil and luxurious hotel to switch off and recharge, this is truly it. We can’t wait to watch the hotel grow and blossom and come back again soon!

    The hotel was in an excellent location - on a hillside overlooking the bay and village of Loutra but close enough to walk into the centre and to the beach. The room itself was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. And the hotel staff were very friendly and obliging.

    Spotlessly clean. Had everything we wanted. Nothing was to much trouble. The location was perfect and was very quiet in the evenings. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to kithnos. Maria and her mum were absolutely lovely.

    Great apartments next to the sea with private beach and pet friendly hotel. The only issue was the road before the hotel which was very difficult to drive especially if you had not a 4x4.
