We took an apartment as a family. We were satisfied with everything. From what I saw around this is the hotel that is the closest to what you can experience in Western or Central Europe. So, if you are coming from this part I highly recommend you to stay here.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very kind. It is not too far from the beach or the town centre, you can walk everywhere. There is a fridge in the room.

Best Place to relax after climbing mt. Olympus. The host(ess) are enourmously friendly and hospitable. The room is very tidy and well organised. The shared space is open, nicely decorated and well maintained. If we would come back to Mt. Olympus or surroundings, we come back to Makris 10/10.

Leptokaria was a lovely town close to Mt.Olympus and within walking distance to beach shopping strip. We hired a car a drove to Mt.Olympus and would recommend visiting Mt.Olympus early in morning to avoid the crowds.

Excellent place for sea and mountain experience. Olympus is so close and you must go for it! Very good prices and friendly people. A lot of choices for families and for couples. You can reach by car, by bus or by train! There are a lot of beaches for any taste (rock or sand),having facilities like showers, sun beds etc

It's a nice seaside town.
It's a nice seaside town. When I visited off-season many places were closed, but I found a nice sea-view taverna. Seems like a nice place to visit in the summer. Very close to the main road too, so handy for a short stop on the way south.

We saw only a little, but enjoyed the great, huge beach and a good seaside restaurant with lots of seafood dishes. Since we were there in late September, the Greeks thought the weather was cold, but we found it beautiful, sunny, with delicious fresh air from the sea. The sea was great for swimming, although lots of rounded rocks made getting into the water tough on feet (plus we were tired from our trip, and new to this type of tide-borne rocks) but the water was great as soon as we traversed about 10-20 feet into deeper water. Nice shopping-area street near our hotel, where we bought a plug-in USB outlet, and food for breakfast.DavidUnited States
