United KingdomAll of the staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful, the room was clean and well equipped. The bed itself was very comfortable, especially the pillows. The shower was also great with three different types of shower head within the cubicle. Breakfast was excellent, very well priced and we were given paper bags every day to keep whatever we had leftover. The view from our room was spectacular, we could see both the mountains and the town square from our balcony, both of which were incredibly picturesque. I would not hesitate to stay here again, staying at this hotel was the perfect choice for our trip and also very conveniently located to visit many attractions in the area.

Litochoro is a fantastic place that combines the mountains and the seaside in the best way. It is located at 300 meters above sea level with fresh air and only 15 minutes from the sea. It offers great opportunities for mountain tourism, lovely restaurants, and important religious sites. The peaceful setting, combined with natural beauty and culture, makes it an ideal destination for both relaxation and exploration.

It's rare that you can combine a beach vacation with a...
It's rare that you can combine a beach vacation with a mountain one, but Litochoro offers exactly that - in 15-30 minutes by car you can be either in the heart of Olympus or on a sandy beach that looks out a travel brochure.
If you head to the beach, we recommend the one between Paralia and Olympiaki Akti a little up north along the coast - there is golden sand, no rocks at all, and no crowds.
If you head to the mountain, take the road to Prionia and make sure you stop at the Monastery of Saint Dionysios and Stavros Refuge along the way - the views are truly breathtaking all throughout the trip
In the city center, check out the maritime museum, the park, and the restaurants and bakeries along the park. The old church is pretty impressive as well.
All in all, a great destination, not just in the summer!

Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus.
Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus. Lovely place, close to Enipeas gorge, and it´s fantastic waterfalls and lagoons. On one side, few kms from the ocean, on the other side the mountains stand tall. So it´s a perfect place to start the hike to the Olympus, or just go to the beach. It is also the finish line of the Olympus Marathon, and I can only recommend. Nice cafes, restaurants, tourist shops, and the views are gorgeous.

Very nice place, perfectly positioned between the mountains...
Very nice place, perfectly positioned between the mountains and the sea. We have already spent the night in Litochoro twice on our way to the Peloponnese and Skiathos, but we decided to spend our summer here next year. The nightlife and entertainment is excellent, there are many bars and restaurants, especially when you go down the beautiful promenade to the river. In the town itself, we liked eating the most at the Meze-Meze restaurant with excellent food.

The whole selling point of the town is Mount Olympus yet their blue ribband walk to Prionia is closed as five bridges are down. It is a national park and a unesco biosphere and yet the locals do not give a damn!

The entier villa ( 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big living-room and the kitchen plus a nice yard with trees and plants and BBQ) all is new and well equipped with everithing you need during the summer holiday în Greece. The warm welcoming of Giorgos and his wife, Dimitra, and the radio set on greek music were the first signs that a lovlely 8 days holiday has started. We have 2 small dogs very happy to receive such a warm welcoming. The hosts told us that they have 2 dogs too. We love it and we are going to come back in the future.

I'd like to recommend Litochoro Combo Apartments with all my heart <3. For my point of view, the apartment is the much comfortable than any hotel ones. All equipment (you have everything you need, even the espresso coffee machine) are new. From one side, you have beautiful blue sea and sky, and from the other, mount Olympus provides you with refreshing greenery. Mrs Mendy and Mr. Tasos were excellent hosts.

It has a delicious breakfast and wonderful staff. When we came back after a year, they immediately remembered us and made us feel like we had come home. The hotel is in a very good location, Litochoro is already a fairy-tale town. We recommend this wonderful facility to everyone. We will visit again as soon as possible. thanks for everything.

The apartment is comfortable, nice and well equipped. Good attention to small details. The location is ideal- few minutes walk from Litochoro center but quite and free parking nearby.

Evi and Andreis were exceptional. They gave me great recommendations for hiking the mountain and making the most of my time in town.
The room was great and the view was incredible.
Breakfast was also terrific! My favorite in Greece of any hotel I stayed at.
