The hotel is meticulously renovated and offers natural soaps, mattress and pillows. Very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was preset and came in a basket - very tasty and good quality food. Very fast and stable internet. The owner was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Litochoro has many small alleys with oneway streets. Either have GPS or print directions before you arrive in town. Parking in front of the house or at the private lot 30 meters away.

Check in and out was very simple. The host was very responsive to my messages. The place is exactly as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinner. The location was great for accessing the hiking trails and was very peaceful and quiet!

SerbiaExceptional location, best I have seen so far. Every detail of the whole property has been obviously carefully thought of. During the day one can watch the seashore below from the commodity of an armchair while during the night you can relax listening to cricket and bird sounds while watching flickering lights of the small towns located on the beach or even on the peninsula more than 70km away with soft breeze cooling you all the time. If you wish to go to the beach with great beach bars it is very close, some 10km drive down the hill.

It's rare that you can combine a beach vacation with a mountain one, but Litochoro offers exactly that - in 15-30 minutes by car you can be either in the heart of Olympus or on a sandy beach that looks out a travel brochure. If you head to the beach, we recommend the one between Paralia and Olympiaki Akti a little up north along the coast - there is golden sand, no rocks at all, and no crowds. If you head to the mountain, take the road to Prionia and make sure you stop at the Monastery of Saint Dionysios and Stavros Refuge along the way - the views are truly breathtaking all throughout the trip In the city center, check out the maritime museum, the park, and the restaurants and bakeries along the park. Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus.
Litochoro is the gate to Mount Olympus. Lovely place, close to Enipeas gorge, and it´s fantastic waterfalls and lagoons. On one side, few kms from the ocean, on the other side the mountains stand tall. So it´s a perfect place to start the hike to the Olympus, or just go to the beach. It is also the finish line of the Olympus Marathon, and I can only recommend. Nice cafes, restaurants, tourist shops, and the views are gorgeous.Guest review byXanaRGermany - 10.0

Very nice place, perfectly positioned between the mountains and the sea. We have already spent the night in Litochoro twice on our way to the Peloponnese and Skiathos, but we decided to spend our summer here next year. The nightlife and entertainment is excellent, there are many bars and restaurants, especially when you go down the beautiful promenade to the river. Martina and her team were there to greet us, gave us helpful advice about hiking, rang a taxi for us to get to Priona to do a walk to the monastery and gave us extra pots and pans and some olive oil so that we could cook a simple meal in our room. We stayed in early May and our room on the second floor opened onto a large shared terrace with a great view of the town and mountains. Although this is a shared communal space, and could get busy in summer, we were fortunate to have it to ourselves most of the time. We also enjoyed meeting our neighbours when the adjacent room was booked. A peaceful and welcoming guesthouse with good facilities and very well located too.Guest review byDominiqueAustralia
