Lovely location, quiet and not crowded but with enough people bars and restaurants to meet our needs. Locals very friendly, a lovely village feel. It's an attractive village with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Don't expect a lot of sophisticated shopping though. There are a few shops for ladies' clothes but men seemed to have been forgotten. I couldn't even find a t-shirt! Even in September it was necessary to book a table in the restaurants up to to two days before, which was a big surprise. The beach is pebbly and, although the water is clean and warm, it's difficult to get in, even with beach shoes because of the uneven surface and loose pebbles. There is a good bus service to other parts of the island but the buses can get crowded so get to the bus stop in good time. We did enjoy our stay. We didn't do as much walking as we would usually do however because it was just too hot at between 34 and 36 degrees.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Tilos is a jewel of an island.
Tilos is a jewel of an island. Livadia was better than we expected with a great mix of tavernas both in the village square and along the paved waterfront. Something to suit everyone. The friendliest Greek Island I’ve visited to date the islanders are so welcoming, the village/town is tiny and by the end of your first day it feels you know everyone and everyone knows you. The perfect place for a laidback few days. Very nice quiet place. The local are very friendly and helpful. There is a nice beach and great food at reasonable prices. The local supermarket next to the Gyros shop is run by the loveliest old man who went out of his way to help.Guest review bySpirosAustralia - 10.0

A beautiful village on a very quiet island full of natural beauty, I loved everything here! The walking routes around the island are exquisite, 100% recommend! In the heat they do require some endurance, though, I do recommend having some level of fitness. There is very little natural shade on the island, and climbing uphill in +29 degrees is a challenge. The beaches are not necessarily the best for kids, as they are quite deep pebble beaches, but if you are an adult who can swim, they are the best. If you are looking for nightlife or lots of young people, this is not the island for you. Most tourists seem to be 65+, which is completely fine by me (40something), as I was looking for peace and quiet. I had the perfect vacation doing walks, reading books and just relaxing at the beach.Guest review byAnniFinland

The hotel is right by the beach, the rooms are lovely with wonderful views, the beds are comfortable, and a little pentry/kitchen. The location is gorgeous and we spent our days swimming in the crystal clear water.
