Calm, cozy, clean hotel with super friendly, helpful staff. Hotel's teritory is well designed, great attention to details. The food quality and variety are nice as well, almost every dinner had different cuisine and meals to choose from. The cocktails, drinks at the bar may look a bit pricy. The sandy beach is beautiful and clean, with lots of comfortable sunbeds. The location is 10/10 with many supermarkets, bars and other catering places located nearly, just few minutes walk up the road. A bus stop to other cities located about 15 min of walk from the hotel up the road. Overall, we left fully satisfied with what we have received for the value.

We really enjoyed our stay. The welcome we received was outstanding. The pool and amenities were great. Free parking in front of the hotel was so easy. Breakfast was nice, choice of everything you could wish for. The service was always friendly and everything was spotless. Our room and attached bathroom were not large but we had a nice spacious terrace attached to the room, very comfortable. And not to forget, the location of Dedalos hotel is really really great. Walking distance to all the fun city center and beach but far enough in order to not hear noise. This hotel is really economical and well worth the price. To sum it up : WONDERFUL !!!!! THANK YOU KOULA and thank you to all at Dedalos hotel.

Another hidden gem unlocked, this time on Crete. Still looking like new, good location and with its "own" restaurant just across de the street. Cute employees, delivering perfect service, from checking in to serving breakfast (which, btw, was another big surprise regarding how good it was and the way it was offered) or giving direction/information about what to do in the area. Also, I can understand a little bit of Greek, especially the "bad words", so the banter that went between them didn't go unnoticed and it was funny, especially at breakfast time. The beach is less than 15min of walking away and the old city less than 5 minutes. The "strip" with all the bars/clubs can be reached in less than 10min, same with the supermarkets. If you don't feel like walking to the beach, you can park yourself at the hotel's pool and relax. The bathrooms are clean, the shower large enough, nothing is cramped. The rooms also have a small "kitchen" area, with everything one needs. Also, pretty good AC. The restaurant is nicely decorated, on two levels and it has plenty of tables. The menu is about the same, everywhere on the island. Ate 2-3 times there, solid cooking. Parking spaces right next to the hotel (private parking, for customers).

We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast had a lot to offer. A lot of Greek breakfast items that were foreign to us but also a lot of fruit and eggs that you can’t go wrong with. The room was clean and very modern which we liked and we had an amazing view over the pool and you could even see the sea! Definitely recommend you request for a room on the second floor with pool view if possible. The staff was very helpful and kind and you could book any trip from the hotel reception. The pool was also very large which was nice. The location was excellent with everything being close by. The beach was about a 15-20min walk and 5-10min walk in the other direction plenty of restaurants. The bar strip was a 10min walk from the hotel which was nicely close by but still far enough to not hear all the noise from the parties.

The staff was extremely welcoming. One of the owners waited for us until late hours in the night, as our plane was delayed. The room was newly and fully refurbished, very clean and with a pleasant design. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. Will definitely come back to visit! Thank you, Stelios family!

Hands down one of the best places I have ever had the privilege of visiting in the world. Not only are the facilities amazing but the staff made you feel like family. The city of Malia and its people have stolen my heart. The hospitality of the people were beyond my expectations. These people are humble and authentic.     It’s nice beach location ! Lots of British young people ! Everyone super friendly ! Just opposite our Primavera beach hotel - nice sandy beach ! Please check prices for sunbeds !!! On first day we payed 80! euro ( Nissos beach ) for 4 sunbeds. Next day gone to Bikini beach ( just left side from Nissos entrance ) - and you get sunbeds for 9 euro !! Feel the difference!!! But food at Bikini beach was not so good as at Nissos or Pleasure beach ( to the right from Nissos beach ) From restaurants near by ours favorite was Drossiya !

    When you're here, don't just party and beach!

    When you're here, don't just party and beach! Take some time to explore the old town. Beautiful flowers, charming little streets and houses... This isn't an advertisement, but if you're there, check out the Honey Corner next to the little church to see the handmade honey, olive oil, and soaps. They make wonderful souvenirs to take home with you!

    Malia is simply wonderful and I have visited it for the second time in the last two years. For those who like action and lots of tourists, then the center of Malia will definitely meet their expectations. On the other hand, there are also quieter parts on the eastern side of Malia. Great restaurants and the local people are simply amazing. Malia is also wonderfully located so that a trip to the big cities like Heraklion or Agios Nikolaos does not take more than half an hour or so.

    End of season get your sightseeing in - perfect weather for it! Matala trip to see the Caves & Hippy-village was wonderful - quad bike trip - Iraklion etc etc hire a car, good pricing. Bus pricing is even better., takes from airport to Malia in less than hour for approx 4/5euro Malia Main strip is barely open (which suits many non-partying folk) witnessing the locals wind down & wake-up to their own life/priorities was wonderful. Watching little ones head to school - national OXi Day parade. Weather in late 20s mid Oct to early 20’s towards November… cooler evenings so take some warmer clothing.

    Malia town is a great hub for young adults as it offers a party vibe and I can imagine at night it is pumping with energy, music and young people. There are tonnes of restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs so lots to entertain. However, we stayed out of the main hub at Camelot Royal about 20 minute walk from Malia town and we enjoyed it so much as it was better for a family vibe. Close to nice beaches and many tavernas, water sports and activities. I would say if you are a young adult, do stay close to Malia town but for families, couples stay a bit out of the main hub for peace and quiet.

    This was our first time on Crete and we weren't sure what we're getting into. The location of the hotel is great - a little to the side of Malia's very very intense night life, but still a short walk to it. We were able to get a proper rest and enjoy our stay. The pool is great and the beach is right next to it, so there's something for everyone. The pool bar serves food and drinks. The staff was friendly and gave us good recommendations.

    Staff were exceptional from the outset. Very detailed check in and always on hand 24hrs a day if required. Restaurant was excellent,good choice of food and good value, served by friendly staff.     We spend lovely holidays in Dimamiel Malia Inn with family. This is perfect place to rest and explore eastern Crete. The owners are very nice and helpful, the apartments are cleaned every day, the swimming pool is clean, shops are right next to it, the sandy beach is only 5 minutes away. We highly recommend this place with my family .

    so lovely to be back at Silver Sun , it is a coming home in Crete for us staying here. Everything is very well organised, friendly, and a warm family atmosphere in this little corner that escapes big development. Make sure you have a look for the sand lillies, and enjoy the quiet, comfortable rooms.
