Lovely place. But even more than the hotel was the welcoming, attentive, gentle staff. Who was there for every wish and helped with every problem. The inner swimming pool and Jacuzzi was amazing. And rooms were very cosy.

- real local mountain atmosphere hotel (fireplace, wood everywhere…) and with all the confort you can need - very helpful and friendly staff (family run hotel, which creates a very nice feeling) - out of the busy center at a very nice walking distance - easyness to park your car next to the hotel (it can be difficult to park in the village some times, so this is a nice plus) - the amazing view of the wonderful Greek mountains! Good job!!

Beautiful architecture and scenery! Nevertheless, prices and quality for local products (cheese, smoked meat and wine) are just a bad joke! Luckily, some restaurants are keeping the tradition going and offers authentic and quality food experience!

Metsovo is a picturesque village in the area of Epirus.

Metsovo is a picturesque village in the area of Epirus. There are many recreational activities you can do there especially hiking, skiing and mountain related stuff. Don’t miss to visit the Averof art gallery with rare paintings from famous Greek artists. Also, as it’s one hour drive to Meteora don’t miss the chance to visit this unique place.

Metsovo is a small village in the mountains used as a skii resort during winter. It reminds me of an Austrian ski resort with wooden framed buildings and colourful plants outside and cobblestone pathways. Very romantic and picturesque. There are hikes and mountain biking trails and day trips to go see. One night was not long enough. The area is renowned for its locally made cheeses and wine, and meat. Also famous for its wooden artifoand homemade textiles

Picturesque village, everything withing walking distance. Ideal for families, offering a new playground, huge running and playing areas between the trees and next to the mountain view (Averofeios Kipos and the outdoor space of the central church)- however not stroller friendly as the streets are traditionally stone paved. Withing ~1 hour drive you will find lakes, waterfalls, mountains, walking paths and other traditional villages. The food, pies, cheeses, wine, tsipouro of Metsovo are a must try! And the prices are fair. Believe it or not, this “meat” eating village is great for vegetarians as well, you’ll find many delicious and traditional options! The clean air of Metsovo will refresh you! So much intact nature though means that you ll also get mosquitoes (in spring and summer) so come prepaired.

This might be the best place I've stayed in Greece so far, I can't even describe how blown away I was by our super-friendly host. Her recommendations were top notch. The loft itself is unbelievable cozy, offering a beautiful view over the mountains and Anilio, the nearby village. Within walking distance to everything you need, including a local market (Fridays, as far as I can tell). Tons of places to hike, I went on Ursa Trail with the regret of not having more time to explore. Beds were perfect, I slept like a rock.

Very comfortable, large rooms. Excellent bar and restaurant. Fantastic views and great staff. The concierge, (Petro) was friendly, helpful and a great source of information on the local area. Prior to our arrival, the receptionist (Sofia), organised a truffle hunting experience with a local truffle hunter, which was a highlight of our entire holiday in Greece.

This is such a beautiful place! The hotel feels very cozy with a very friendly staff and very nice, clean rooms. The town of Metsovo is just amazing with great restaurants and views. The hotel also had a really nice breakfast. Free parking garage is a plus too. Perfect stay.

Hotel Bitouni was good and well located, not far from the center of Metsovo. The personnel was extremely polite and helpful.- The rooms were spacious and comfortable, although the furniture was a bit old and worn. We had a great overnight stay at this hotel.
