Housed in 2 neoclassical buildings and just 30 metres from the beach, the seafront Poseidon is 300 metres from the main port in Kastelorizo. Our stay here definitely added up to our overall unique experience on the island. Located on Kastelorizo's main harbour, the view is simply amazing! Our room was not only very clean, but also nicely decorated and covered all needs. All staff members were professional, friendly and always available and willing to help, which created a warm and friendly environment. I truly and highly recommend it. We will most definitely stay here again in the future.
Situated in the picturesque harbour of Mandraki, this apartment features a patio. The property boasts views of the sea and the mountain and is 1.9 km from Kastelorizo Municipal Airport. The area is really quiet and easily accessible - only 10-15’ on foot from Kastellorizo « city » center. The apartment was large, clean and comfortable. The hosts (Christina and her husband) couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. We won’t hesitate for a second to go back there if we come back to Kastellorizo. Thank you for this wonderful stay !
Set in Meyisti, 700 metres from Palaiokastro and 700 metres from Megisti Port, Maria's Apartments offers free WiFi, barbecue facilities and air conditioning. A very pleasant and friendly stay. Maria is so nice and knows everything about the island. We also visited her tavern “Platania” near the house and we had one of the best meals of our holidays there. The home is spacious, with 2 air conditioners, nice terrace and located in a very good spot (not too crowded and loud). We would definitely visit it again.
Built according to the local architecture, the seafront Agnanti Studios is located in Megisti, within 500 metres from taverns. Everything perfect. In front of of the house there's the passage of turtles. The local supermarket delivery the staff at home for free and eating in the evening in the private balcony is a unique experience. Vasily the owner is super gentleman
Mari Apartment is located in Meyisti, 700 metres from Palaiokastro and provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, as well as access to a children's playground. This turned out to be a really nice apartment. Spacious (much more than any hotel room I have stayed in), everything worked, nice bathroom with a nice shower, and a very helpful host. Location was perfect, 2 mins' walk from the harbour. The whole town is really compact actually.
Located on the main square of Katselorizo Island, Alexandra Pension is just a 5-minute walk from Megisti Port and 100 metres from the beach. It's like being part of a family Lovely Friendly And a place you would love to come back to time and time again Very comfortable and Alexandra is a lovely person so friendly Thanks Again we will be back
Beautiful little island with picturesque views. A photographers paradise. Great for swimming. The sea is so clear and warm for October. Has an amazing history and only minutes away from Turkey. The local people are friendly. There are many eating places, daily bakery and a couple of supa markets.
Thoughtless use of single-use plastic is widespread: PET plastic bottles, straws, drink glasses decor etc etc. The islanders don't seem at all bothered by it. I wonder where their rubbish goes - I guess it is removed by a ferryboat or they'd be knee-deep in it by now.
This is our 3rd visit to Megisti. It is stunningly beautiful but I do feel as if the locals treat it as a day tripper destination. Some of the bars & restaurants don’t treat you as well as they should as they don’t expect to see you again. They seem to forget that people come here to stay, so they need to improve their customer service skills. St George island is a fab day out. As is a visit to the stunning blue cave. The Poseidon hotel apartments is a perfect location to stay. Not sure if we will return to Megisti
Our stay at Panorama Studios in Mandaki was so peaceful A stroll down the white painted steps into the port area where we were met with a lovley charming place, full of vibrancy and character, shear bliss.
For a small island, there is a great choice of restaurants and cafes. The food was fresh, best dishes were the home-made traditional foods. The locals are very friendly and hospitable. There are some great walks, some challenging with the most spectacular views. The Byzantine and ancient sites/artefacts are amazing. We discovered the Museum - this is free, easy to access and provides some of the ancient, Byzantine and local histories of the island
This is the second time l have visited the Island, travelling from Rhodes. It is a beautiful place for a relaxing holiday. You can take a short, speed boat ride to St George island to swim, relax and eat at the taverna, during the Summer months. The highlight for me is the Turtles that swim in the Port daily. I will definitely return again.
