The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Freshly squeezed orange juice was great. Strongly recommend to sleep on the island in autumn. The views are amazing. Go to the top of the rock and wander around. Hike the Monemvasia loop to the lighthouse and around the island (not for kids).

United StatesWe arrived late but the person at the desk was so helpful and provided some great advice for food and places to visit. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a huge buffet with so much to choose from and all very delicious. Technically within walking distance of “the old town” but we chose to drive across the bridge.

We loved how kid-friendly Kinsterna is: the cool (and complimentary) activities they have to offer, the fact that they have kid-friendly cutlery ready for you, the family pool is perfect for kids of any age, the plush donkey our kid received as a gift, the playground, the indoor playroom, the animals onsite, a great kids menu, and of course how genuinely nice the staff was to our kid.
The hotel itself is a beautiful property, with plenty of corners to enjoy at all times of day. The food at the pool and at both restaurants was amazing.

MexicoLocation is great. It was easy to arrive to the hotel and the parking area is right in front. We got a sea view. We couldn’t see the island but still had a great view at sunrise. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had breakfast included, which I wasn't aware of, so it was a pleasant surprise.

Monemvasia is interesting and charming and beautiful. I liked that it was not crawling with tourists because it was off season. I think high season could be packed to the gills with tourists. Parking is hard and very limited. If you are staying in the castle area, big suitcases would be a challenge.

Monemvasia is just a magical place to be.
Monemvasia is just a magical place to be. Take the time to explore it. Make sure you go up to the top of the rock, sunrise is the perfect time. And be sure to explore the town in the evening: there are fewer people around and it is very atmospheric.
Food wise, Monemvasia is a bit limited for vegans, but we found places to eat.

its a must to see Monemvasia. The rock looks difficult to walk buy its not and its worth. In and around Monemvasia the people are always smiling, happy and easy going.

Monemvasia is a lovely village built at the base of an island reachable by a bridge. There are two great spots to swim on the island side of the bridge, on of which is quite sheltered by rocks so we were able to take a dip although the wind and waves were strong. The town at the base of the cliffs and the old site at the top are both charming and worth a visit. We were only there for a night but I could have stayed longer.

This place is amazing.
This place is amazing. Feels like you have just stepped back into Medieval times. We only stayed for one night - wish we had stayed for two. We got up at dawn and walked up to the castle ruins - this is a must do experience.

The main asset of the property are its location and its staff/owners. Any location within the walls of Monemvasia is memorable and unique. When evaluating the hotel, I am taking in consideration the extremely unique specifics of hospitality business in Monemvasia (explained in the section below). We liked the spirit of the place, the kindness of the staff. The breakfast was good and varied, with many typically Balkan meals and products. Our room had a balcony and a huge bathroom.

Everything was perfect. Excellent hotel, design, room, space, hygiene, pool, food, stuff, location. The Suites is 15 min (walk) from the beautiful beach Ambelakia. The area of the hotel is out of the strict Monemvasia but it's around 6 km near.

In our car trip over Peloponnesos, Monemvasia was the most impressive place! The hotel is just in front of the old town, the view from our room was fantastic! Beds would need a cover mattress but for one night it was all good!
