Starting from our free ride to the hotel from the port, Myconos Cactus Hotel made us feel the exquisite experience of the island even on a (relatively) budget trip for two nights. I d like to especially thank Taxiarchis for his kind welcome and introduction of the island during the ride. We also thank Nikos and Vasiliki for the information at reception as well as the bar staff for the fulfilling breakfasts. The hotel displays one of the rare green spots in the island with an elegant (almost) botanical garden of various cactus species surrounding a refreshing pool. The rooms are designed in the traditional Myconian housing style. Ours had a wide porch to relax. The room, sheets and towels were all very clean. The hotel is in a perfect location with walking distance to the Ornos beach. There is a public bus stop in 2 minutes walking distance. The bus takes about 10-15 minutes to downtown (I d recommend renting a car and not rely only on the public transport in the island though.) The hotel arranged a transfer service to the port when we checked out, also free of charge. Thanks again for the entire experience. I d highly recommend Myconos Cactus Hotel.

Clean and upscale boutique hotel. We had a little confusion at check in but the staff went out of their way to accommodate us for the mixup. We were very happy with our rooms and the staff is superb! We would recommend the hotel for a stay in Mykonos.

Kensho Ornos destroyed the rest of the hotel experiences for me. Its a bar above the rest! The facility , the people & its location being steps away from the beach. Nick, Mario, Nancy & Vicky the director has lead the whole Kensho team to the utmost first class experience for us. The details from the moment we arrived , the pickup , the welcome packages, recommendations, spa treatments & dining is bar none ! They will be my our home whenever we are in Mykonos. We miss them already. Thank you to the whole Kensho team.

spacious rooms, impeccable cleanliness, towels and minibar with daily replacement, mini jacuzzi in the private courtyard where you can have a private beach, espresso machine in the room with daily capsule replacement, bar and restaurant that must be visited, the beach with sunbeds, beach towels, sauna, massage, gym. If I were to return to Mykonos, this is the only reason why I would return.

    It is an excellant location the main beach is full of beach clubs with a high fee to use the beds the windy beach doesn't have sunbeams but free. Very nice bakery and local restaurants. One road back from waterfront were more reasonably price and local greek for was great. Very handy local bus to Mykonos Plus water taxi from Arnos beach is the best was to visit other beaches

    Ornos is well located - 5 minutes drive from Mykonos Town with a good bus service. The south facing beach has wonderful white sand and turquoise water for swimming. However 95% of it is covered with sunbeds which ranged from 70-100 euros for two. The resort is small with fairly limited choice of restaurants other than those along the beach which are great but quite pricey. It is very dangerous to walk around the resort due to the narrow roads with speedy traffic and no footpaths. A walk to the supermarket or bakery could be quite scary.

    Ornos was a lovely location - we preferred it to Paradise...

    Ornos was a lovely location - we preferred it to Paradise where we stayed last time (particularly for a family). But the beach gets very busy by lunchtime and there is only a very small sandy part to put your own towel/umbrella without having to rent a bed. The sun lounge rentals range from 60euro to 100euro for the front row. Near the beach there were many great restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets.

    I had a wonderful stay at this lovely place! The location is excellent—very close to the city with easy access to bakeries and shops. Everything I needed was just a short walk away, making it extremely convenient. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. What stood out most was the warm hospitality of the family running the property. Despite being a family business, their communication was professional, timely, and friendly, which made the experience even better. It’s clear they care about their guests and go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient stay near the city.

    Ornos hotel is a relaxed stylish modern hotel with beautiful views over Ornos Bay. The staff are warm and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast is great with friendly service around the pool bar and cool music creating the perfect atmosphere. It’s a short walk to the beach with some great local restaurants near by to choose from. We will definitely recommend to others and look forward to return ourselves.

    Ornos beach is super nice with plenty of beach bars and amenities close by. If you are interested in kitesurfing Korfos beach is also only a few minutes walk which is an excellent location for it with options to both rent gear and buy lessons.

    A stunning, newly built property in Ornos. A 5 minute walk for the beach, the property has a big pool area with loungers, lovely breakfast included and modern rooms which are perfectly fit for purpose. We loved Ornos because it feels like you’re in a small Greek village despite being in the bustling Mykonos, yet it is close to everything. The property helped us with an early check in, arranged transport when needed and the staff were incredibly friendly and always present to help. What a great stay and excellent value for money!

    Everything was perfect, the staff, the view, apartment and facilities, breakfast... everything to single point. We truly relaxed during our stay. Hotel is clean and quiet, provides you opportunity to relax and enjoy by the poll when you want to recharge you energy. Even if you are at hotel you still have amazing view on Ornos bay with all the restaurants and bars. Definitely recommendation and we will definitely stay here again if we come next time to Mykonos. If you need anything just ask Dimitris and he will take care of it 🙂

    The staff were great, very accommodating for the whole of our stay. The hotel has a very nice relaxed feel to it. The rooms were basic but spacious. The basic feel to the room is quite typical of Greece and is also reflected in the price. It is a very good price for Mykonos. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Even the chamber maids were very polite and smiley. We didn't want for anything.

    Staying here felt like a true Mykonos experience. The Cycladic architecture, white stone floors, and built-in furniture gave the apartment so much character. Ornos is charming and quieter than Mykonos Town, but everything is easily accessible. The host was incredibly helpful with recommendations, and we felt at home right away. A must-stay for anyone looking for authenticity!

    Vicky, flora and the team were so helpful. The hotel is lovely and very well located from Mykonos town and Ornos. Other places of interest aren’t too far by far or quad bike. The hotel was beautiful - even better than the pictures. The view over the infinity pool out to the sea was just gorgeous.
