Early september was great to stay a week! It wasn't busy since it was off-season and the 2, Otzias Kouzina and Taverna of Anna, are excellent places to eat and should be easily walkable from any of the places to stay in the area. Near the center and right side of the beach looking out to sea there is more sand and less stone so is better to swim at.Guest review byJimNetherlands - 10.0

Otzias was the perfect base to explore the island with its...
Otzias was the perfect base to explore the island with its own beautiful beach and two tavernas within walking distance but also only 15 minutes drive from the main harbour and marina. It was about 30 minutes drive to the main town of Ioulis which is absolutely beautiful with lovely shops cafes and restaurants to explore. You can also visit the museum and see the ancient stone lion which is just outside the town. We also made the journey to the ancient site of Karthaia which involved a long hike down to a remote beach and a donkey ride back!
