Great location close to the main road with 2 markets, beaches, plenty of restaurants, a small port and pretty much all you need. Magda was super friendly with lovely parents, it was clean, had parking space always available, great air conditioners in both rooms, well equipped kitchen, huge balcony with folding drier for the beach towels, swimming shorts, etc. Good bathroom. Comfortable bed and mattress, was not too hard as described in other reviews but that's strictly subjective, of course

I can honestly say it's the best room we've stayed in recently. I don't even want to call it a room; it's a house. Two fully equipped rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Each room, even the kitchen, has a separate balcony. One side overlooks the forest, the other the sea. Every corner of the house is beautifully furnished, and each balcony has a candle to light. Its central location makes it easy to walk to the best restaurants and beaches, and there's also a private parking lot in front. The hospitality was incredible, and upon arrival, the host offered fresh fruit. Furthermore, one of the most unexpected things we didn't expect on holiday happened: our son got food poisoning. The host's support was incredibly meaningful. If we ever return to Corfu, I don't think we'll stay anywhere else.

    Paleokastritsa doesn't really have a town center, so it's not a place where you can go to the beach during the day and then for a walk and restaurant at night. It has many small beaches in walking distance, but they tend to get crowded, so if you prefer larger beaches, driving around might be the better option. Liapades is few minutes drive, Glyfada and Kontogialos around 30 min drive and Agios Georgios Pagon in the north is a little more. For the more adventurous, Rovinia Beach or taking a boat to explore the southern hidden beaches would be a great option. Around Paleokastrica there are great viewing spots like the Monastery Hill or the Lakones village nearby

    It is a very touristy area, not my ideal, but many beaches within a close distance, swimming, beach bars, restaurants, opportunities to rent boats or a tour (Recommended! I booked with Paleotours.) I always found a spot at the beaches, especially early in the day or evening. Everything you need is there and it is stunning.

However, since it's a popular tourist spot, prices can be higher than in other areas. If you have a car and don’t mind driving, it might be more affordable to stay elsewhere on the island and spend a day exploring Paleokastritsa.

    Loved the old village at top of mountain, visited several times, fish restaurant on the beach serves some fantastic dishes, ate there several nights, very close to apartment, traffic can be very busy at times but it is a lovely spot

    If you know Paleokastritsa, you'll know that it's low key. Quite, relaxed. Spread out over a few miles. From Anemona studios right down to the harbour. If you're fit, walking is a treat. Up the hill to Lakones. Frappe at the top when you make it. Or Doukades. Bus connections are super to Corfu town. Anemona Studios are great. Cleaned everyday, fresh towels and bedding every 3 days. We stayed for 17 nights. Loved every minute.

    Really peaceful, great place to relax. Sea view and a short walk down to the beach or up the hill for a hike to a nearby village. We loved sitting on the balcony. George, the host, was incredibly helpful with advice about Corfú. Would definitely stay again.
