As many other guests pointed out, it's not the room or the physical property that makes this place special. It is the owners, Felicita and her son Giorgos, who treat you to the kind of hospitality I only used to encounter decades ago. Felicita offered me homemade rose jam which was delicious and Giorgos gave me a bowl of homemade meal on my last evening. Not only that, he even washed my car before I left! He was always in touch by message, asking how he could make my stay more comfortable. As for the room, it was spotlessly clean. It had many more extras than a good hotel - different types of cosmetics, mosquito repellent, snacks and coffee. While my room was at the back, the other rooms had amazing views of the bay. The garden of the property was beautiful, with lots of flowers and also amazingly clean. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

    Paleokastritsa is a fantastic, natural vacation location but the tourism and traffic must be better managed to preserve its future. There is a problem with the number of tourists, rented vehicles and the resulting refuse and pedestrian, safety concerns.

    It is a very touristy area, not my ideal, but many beaches within a close distance, swimming, beach bars, restaurants, opportunities to rent boats or a tour (Recommended! I booked with Paleotours.) I always found a spot at the beaches, especially early in the day or evening. Everything you need is there and it is stunning.

Whether you're swimming in hidden coves, enjoying fresh seafood by the sea, or exploring the iconic monastery with panoramic views, Paleokastritsa offers a perfect mix of natural beauty and authentic Greek charm. However, since it's a popular tourist spot, prices can be higher than in other areas. If you have a car and don’t mind driving, it might be more affordable to stay elsewhere on the island and spend a day exploring Paleokastritsa.

    Loved the old village at top of mountain, visited several times, fish restaurant on the beach serves some fantastic dishes, ate there several nights, very close to apartment, traffic can be very busy at times but it is a lovely spot

    Really comfortable, clean and modern apartment, perfect for two people. The AC is a huge plus, and the balcony with the sun umbrella is lovely. We even used the kitchen, and it is fully equiped. The location is amazing, super central and walking distance to a number of beaches. By car, you can reach even more amazing places. Glyfada beach is only 30 minutes by car and it is worth a visit. So is the old town of Corfu. We loved it!

    Everyone working there was so helpful, and went out of their way to welcome us and give us great recommendations. We visited many places in Corfu, but Paleokastritsa was undoubtedly the most beautiful, and this hotel is very well located, being an easy walk to all the main beaches, the port (for fantastic boat rides to hidden beaches and caves), the monastery, and many restaurants. The pool was also fantastic. 100% recommend :)

    - The location and the view - Paleokastritsa is probably the best place on Corfu to stay if you plan to travel around. It's close to the most beautiful beaches, many boat rentals and restaurants. - The host, Mrs Vasileia, was very nice to us and the apartment was cleaned every other day. - There is a parking for 3-4 cars (although it's rather small).
