Great location for tavernas, (lots of them just a very short walk across the road), Terreza pizza best chips in town! lovely pizza too! Bakery, supermarket, ferries, (noisy sometimes, didn’t really spoil anything, just making people aware, it’s main port for freight, as well as foot passengers, cyclists on island hopping tours. The marina is full of nice yachts, sailing boats. Beach is pebbles. Balcony with sea views, patio balcony to rear Mountain View’s, south facing so plenty of sunshine, if it got too hot, went to front balcony in shade, watch the world go by. Ithaca is one of the nearby islands you can see from the port of Sami, you can get a lovely day tour to Ithaca from Sami on a mini bus, we went with Avgerinos, office in Sami on sea front, lovely people.

The location is just outside of Sami with a wonderful view of the water and city. We stayed for one night after arriving in Kefalonia, before we ventured up to Fiskardo. The apartment was spacious and welcoming and Maria was very nice.

Lovely apartments, relaxed atmosphere and owners very helpful. Pool was lovely. They have a little puppy and he was so cute! it’s about 15 min stroll into Sami and about 7 euros in taxi.
