Best beaches on Sitonia are on the east side around Sarti. Picturesque bays with sand, rocks and trees, overlooking Mount Athos. Offroad vehicle recommended for full experience. Boat trips are a thing to do. Also camping.

The town itself is a wonderful place with old part and new. The beach is sandy and long with lots of beach bars and free spaces for tourists to enjoy the beach. There are plenty of restaurants with varieties of food to choose from. I recommend to try the seafood. It is delicious and fresh. Their famous Greek salad, saganaki, the zucchini chips and basically all the dishes are a treat to the taste buds. The pancake shops and the pastry shops offers delicious sweets. Great choices of ice creams as well. Basically the food will not disappoint at the slightest. The town center offers lots of shops for souvenirs and clothes. For the kids there are lots and lots of toys on display to buy. The amusement arcades are filled with children laughter. There are several beaches with crystal clear water one can enjoy, if one wants to explore the surroundings of Sarti, such as Protokali beach (wonderful beach but overcrowded during high season) , Armenistis Beach and Platanitsi Beach (bear in mind these are camps and entrance is being paid), Vourvourou (a must see) , Paradise Kavourotripes Beach, Kalamitsi beach... These are the surrounding beaches which can be reached by car within 10-20 min. Hope I spark some interest in to visisting this lovely place. Travel safe and enjoy life!

Sarti is wonderful place with beautiful long beach with many restaurants coffee bars. The sunbeds and umbrelas are free with order drinks. Near Sarti have a another beaches to visit. There are many shops with traditionals souvenirs and clothes. The food was excellent and very tasty. And people there ware very hospitable and kind. I really recommend this beautiful town in Sitonia Greece.

Sarti is small and quiet and i really love that. (at least in the period when I visited it) I'm not fond of crowded places with too much noise. Just the right amount of taverns, beach bars, shops.

Sarti offers a beach that includes rocky and deeper areas to the North and more shallow entries to the South. There are calm days, but usually there is surf, and often it is quite wavey. There are, however, great other beach options nearby if you have a car. Ten minutes North is Orange beach which I cannot recommend enough (think water like Elafonissi beach on Crete or even the Caribbean -- granted the water is cooler). Twenty minutes south is Kalamitsi beach which is sheltered and will be much calmer than Sarti when the NorthEast winds are blowing. Dining in Sarti can be hit or miss. I would recommend Kotsaris, on the beach at the North end. We had consistantly great meals there.

Recommendation for Tigania beach, Hawaii beach, Kalamitsi beach. Monassu beach is one of the most organized but it is too expensive. They only offer sunbeds and sun umbrellas for different prices but nothing special other than that. There are stones at the entrance to the sea,not sand.
