Management and all staff were super friendly, accommodating, and professional. We also loved our view on the large balcony. The food at the restaurant is delicious! The staff are very kind & helpful. They have lots of tips for travel from Livingston to other parts of Guatemala, as well as Honduras & Belize. They also offer trips to Playa Blanca and Siete Altares. It’s a good day trip & I definitely recommend it if you’re visiting the area.

Property was clean and cute. Owned and run by local family. We like the host(owner) she made our stay comfortable. Carlos took care of whole stay comfortably, especially food area. His service was very good. They took care of customers like their families. We saw huge group of Europe families l with kids stayed comfortably. Owner was such wet lady arranged us tour for playa Blanca. Carlos and owner lady and all the employees are very professional and treated us like family.

Julio’s cabana was newly built and very spacious. He just finished the new porch overhang the day before my arrival! I really liked the rustic feel of the home, and how private it was. I was the only one on the property during my stay. I stayed in the private room, but took a look upstairs at the loft. There are multiple beds in an open floor layout, with mosquito netting to ensure a comfortable sleep. There are kayaks available for a small extra fee, making getting around on the river very easy - especially if you have friends nearby, would like to visit the thermal waters, or grab dinner at Restaurante Viajero. Julio also has a well stocked kitchen if you will be doing your own cooking, as well as an EcoFilter water purifier. Loved my stay! Thank you Julio and your family for making me feel welcome.
