The service was outstanding. Mr Andres is great! he goes out of his way to make sure you have the best time. The breakfast by Ms. Josefina was delicious. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The location is very good: you are a short drive away from town, but you are in a quiet and relaxing location. The jacuzzi was great: very relaxing with an amazing view. Even though the walk down to the lake is steep, we were able to swim in the lake and it was wonderful. The lake was super clean and the location is very quiet. Being able to light up the fireplace and enjoy a wonderful evening in the terrace was very nice.

Rooms are cosy and confortable with stunning views on the lake and the vulcanoes. Restaurant is very good.

The view from the room was incredible, right on the lake. The manager was extremely helpful and consistently checking in with our needs for help and advice for getting around the lake. We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could stay for a week or more!

Hotel El Sol is located in Panajachel, 1km from center of the town. It features a garden, a terrace and free Wi-Fi access is available. Everything was clean and although it is a 20 min (with a 7 year old) walk to the main street of Pana, we enjoyed the view. You can always tske a “tuc-tuc” and it’ll be 5 minutes to calle Santander.
