Hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong
Centrally located in Mongkok atop the Mong Kok East MTR Station, the luxurious Royal Plaza Hotel enjoys direct access to MOKO, a large shopping mall with over 200 shops and a big cinema.
Great location. This hotel is located inside the mall MOKO and subway station called Mong Kok East Station in a few steps away within the mall. Great place to stay with family and for evening walk. Walk towards Hagen Dass and exit the door and down the bridge in 7 min walk you reach shopping centre, temple Street, ladies market and many shops. First, you bump into McDonald's. Don't miss the bazaar. This is one of very few hotels in Hong Kong with swimming pool and gym facilities. There's a kids' park and a great time spent there with children. Use the subway instead of taxi, and you can save a lot of money. Everything is colour coded and easily identifiable even if you want to change trains. A1 bakery within the mall is the best. Momoku is a Korean restaurant which is cheap and best. KFC is inside the mall too, a lot of restaurants and shops to explore. To my knowledge for any middle-class family, this place is the best.

One of the world’s busiest and most populated cities, Hong Kong is best-known for its stunning skyline with over 1,200 skyscrapers and its “East meets West” cultural mix. With architecture and interior design influenced by feng shui and modern technology, this city is truly unique.
Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture or nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.
Kowloon is a busy urban center near Victoria Harbor, where ferries are an excellent choice to see just how tall Hong Kong's buildings actually are. Excellent tax-free shopping can be found in high-class malls, boutiques and street markets.
Hong Kongs’ unique cultural fusion is clearly seen, tasted and heard in the local food, like dim sum from Maxim's Palace or hot pot from street vendors complimented local Cantopop music in the background.
Arriving at Hong Kong International Airport you’re only a short trip from the city center. Whether you’re staying in a chic hotel or a budget hostel, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for a holiday in Hong Kong.
I loved the area around Bocadito Pub. It was a bit village-like, a nice contrast to the more business-like area. We also loved strolling around the mainland of Hong Kong, with its fish market, flower market and bird garden. Anywhere we went was fabulous. A trip on the double-storey tram was such fun, going to the races, Botanik Gardens & Zoo, taking the peak tram, eating in the revolving restaurant - simply the best!
We stayed in Mongkok, wonderful mix of shopping, markets and malls. Subway easy to navigate the city. Be prepared most shops don’t open till the afternoon. Food is great and London Restaurant is an experience.
crowed can be difficult to get into town /busy area's. not the shopping mecca it once was so don't look for a shopping bargain. Still good for a look at HK island and out to Macau 2 -3 days will pull you up unless you have reason to stay. Was very hot and uncomfortable 12-3 pm (sept 23)
Best for: Easy hiking (Peak, Tai Tam, Kowloon Peak), ferries to islands, cheap beers by the bay / affordable alcohol in general. Best places: The Globe, CitySuper(Sushi take out), Tam Jai local noodles, Master Low Key Food Stall Egg Waffles, Oyster Porridge at Siu Yiu Tin. Hong Kong is fantastic with public transport.
loved my 3 nights stay at Hop inn! I am a female but I stayed at the coed dorm. it was just fine. people were well-mannered. I mean the price-wise and the location-wise- it's reasonable for sure. Dont expect too much.
I was surprised to see that there are hardly any european / western faces any more in Hong Kong. I have felt that there was a bit of an unpleasant and ‘pushy’ vibe. It is that I traveled for business - I would not consider to travel there for a holiday or so.
I liked the location of the property. It’s along Nathan road, the main artery of Kowloon (at least for tourists), which means all points in Hong Kong are either within walking distance or easily accessible using Hong Kong’s awesome transportation system. The hotel also has a lot of nice restaurants in the building, including a Michelin starred dimsum place. Staff, especially the elevator attendants, were quite nice and welcoming, always ready with a warm smile. Room and bathroom are cleaned everyday.
Great location in Wan Chai. Great entertainment is just around the corner, but room is quiet. Also, government offices just across the road, depending on what you fancy. Hotel appears well maintained, and room is recently renovated. Also, room is quite spacious for this location, bed is comfortable. The TV has lots of foreign channels (and believe me this is not common for Hong Kong hotels in this price range). A variety of great food options in the vicinity. Great value for money.
Hong Kong
The location is superb, the hosts are thoughtful and kind It's a family run hotel. Amenities: free wifi, AC (competly necessary in Hong Kong, fridge, kettle. The view from the balcony is beyond compare. It's a little small, but having stayed there before (same room even) It was not unexpected. Services included amazing seafood restaurants are just down Yung Shue Wan Main Street. (I recommend Little Thai)
The location of this hotel is excellent! Lots of things to do in the area, and a quick walk away from the Wan Chai MTR. It is extremely central and close to everything. The rooms were very clean and a full ironing board and iron was quite useful. The rooms were also very quiet with good noise insulation. Wifi connection was strong. Shower pressure was excellent. USB charging slots were useful.
My mother stayed at the hotel when the typhoon touched down (T8), and the staff went out of their way to find her a taxi to the airport. They were very kind and helpful. She was very grateful for their attentive care. The location is 10/10, in the heart of the shopping district on Hong Kong side. Everything is accessible when you step out of the hotel.
The room is worth the price, very clean and has some views around the hotel. The room is very clean, the room is quite spacious. Around the hotel is Hong Kong's Tsim Sha Tsui area, near the subway station and there are many bus stops. Traveling to tourist attractions is convenient. The receptionist gave good advice for serving tourists.
Location is top, near the nice Kowloon park and just two steps away from Temple St. Night market. The area in between is full of great local restaurants. The street where hotel is located is clean and quite convenient to pick a taxi. Hotel room was clean and had an acceptable size. View was amazing.
All staff members are very friendly. The room is quite spacious for a Hong Kong hotel. I sleep very well on your firm beds. There are many restaurants nearby. The tram is just around the corner. It’s so convenient, we take the tram to Causeway Bay and Wan Chai almost every day.
Nice location, comfortable rooms with view of the city, really helpful staff. There is also a laundry area and lounge that you can use. There is a also a free hotel shuttle that goes around Kowloon area for free- something you can consider in your itinerary.
Good hotel in central location in HK, near lots of restaurants and bars and a 10-15 minute walk from HK station. The beds were comfortable and the room nicely decorated. You also never have to wait for a lift - somehow it is always there waiting!
If you want to visit the attractions in Lantau island along with central Hong Kong, this hotel is very well located. The free stuttle service makes it a perfect hotel. Both to/from airport to hotel and to metro station very well maintained.
Nice spacious rooms for what you normally get in Hong Kong, felt like a 1 bedroom apartment. Great location in Central surrounded by eating options with quick access to mid-levels escalators and Soho.
The hotel location is very good and comfortable. There are many recommended restaurants and shopping centers nearby. It's comfortable walking to pier to go to Hong Kong Island and Lantau Island.
Location of the hotel itself was great. 3 minutes foot walk to the avenue of stars. 3 minutes to the subway station 5 minted foot walk to downtown Kowloon
good staff in Ramada Hong Kong Grand hotel miss lai is professional, caring and helpful good staff in Ramada Hong Kong Harbour View hotel, too
Yau Tsim Mong District, Hong Kong
It is what it is. Pretty decent all together, but it's a cheap hotel in Hong kong.
- Great location in central Causeway Bay
