This is our first family trip out of the country and it gives me a lot of stress during the planning. I never thought that it will turn out so well, no hassle and stress free. Our accommodation also was excellent. The staff of Hang Ho Hostel in Jordan was so helpful eventhough we have some communication problem since they don't speak English and we don't speak Chinese. But everything went so smoothly. I would love to recommend their hotel for those travellers like us who wouldn't mind a low budget place to stay.
Very easy to get around avoid taxi, shopping hub, night life is too good, never mind small rooms for most of the hotels in hkg, i will suggest just use it for sleeping only you have lot of things to do outside dont waste your time in room.have fun
We visited the much talked about DisneyLand. The property is vast and very beautiful. It is a must visit for families travelling with children, or adults who want to have chil like fun. Yea, nobody is too old for Disney- but the queues at the park would say otherwise. We had to wait around 75 mins to get on a ride, which at the end was a 1 min drive a car ride -a complete waste of time for any individual above the age of 10 years. The Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Car is the best ride at the park, worth the wait. In hongkong we ate mostly at the hotel, where we stayed at which had a wide choice of food (Regal Hotel, Kowloon). We stuck to food with names we were more familiar with. Getting around in Hong Kong is easy and convenient. They have a well connected metro system and an airport express rail which made getting to and from the airport cheap and easy.To get about the city , you can use a cab too. They aren't too expensive , but make sure you have the address in the local language, it will make it easier for the cab Driver and you. Avoid going to Stanley Market, it is a much talked about tourist market in Hong Kong. I would never go there again, did not find anything useful to buy , ended up buying a milkshake from Haagen Dasz. To buy souvenirs you can head to the night market at temple street or to the ladies market.
1 the Peak 2 we ate all over, nothing that really impressed us 3 excellent public transfortation 4 staying in a guest house around Tshim Sha Tsui is NOT RECOMMENDED. SPEND EXTRA MONEY ON HOTEL COMFORT RATHER THAM COST ACCOMMODATION.
We stayed in the harbour room at renaissance harbour view hotel on new year eve. Luckily, we could clearly see the fire work from our room. The main reason for this trip was the food in hong kong. We went around tsim sha shui, wan chai and central for the best restaurents. It is so easy to go from one place to others since there are taxi everwhere and unconfused MRT. Anyhow only 1 bad experience would be one of our meals in Lei yun mun. The food was overcharged.
Hong Kong is an enormous city! We took a city tour to acquaint ourselves with everything unknown. It included Victoria peak, Kowloon Harbor, and Ocean Park as well as downtown. At night, we took the ferry to Kowloon to watch the Christmas light show across the harbor. We walked to the night market and returned to the Harbourview for a wonderful quiet dinner. Our guide had explained the mid-levels escalator and walkway system. The next day, we took the Macau tour and enjoyed the fast airboat ride and interesting old town and casinos. We again ate at the hotel and enjoyed the beautiful night views from our room. Since it as our first time in Hong Kong, we were glad to have been guided around.

Very nice hotel, great pool with a great view. Spacious rooms, clean and well equipped. Very close to Nathan road in tsim sha tsui but not right in the center of it, we loved it, cause it was calmer there but in an easy walking distance to the center (max 5 min to mtr and 5 to Nathan road, 10 to habour city). Supermarket also very close (right next to the mtr station east tsim sha tsui). Many restaurants just a few minutes away. Hong Kong is awesome! We come again and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel has modern feel and the location is superb. Only few minutes walk to airport bus sts and MTR sts, tsim sha tsui promenade for Symphony of Lights, Hong Kong Science museum which is a very good attraction for those who travel with kids, Kowloon Mosque, surrounded by lots of restaurant, including Halal restaurant and Indonesia Restaurant. The staffs are friendly and helpful and good english speaking. The hotel room was quite big compare to other hotel room in HK.

The rooms were decently sized. Don’t expect state of the art electronics in the room. A decent tv with working air-conditioning and working showers. The most important thing was its really clean! The room was made everyday, towels changed. Service staff were very friendly and courteous too. Location is great! 7mins stroll away from Wan Chai MTR. Alot of food around the hotel. The tram stop was just around the corner, which will bring you to causeway bay or central.

The hotel is in the "nice" part of Wanchai, minutes from both the MTR station and the tram, walkable to both Central and Causeway Bay areas, and with lots of convenience stores, supermarkets, and eateries nearby. Our Queen mountainview room was very spacious had a stunning mountain view (as the name suggests), staff were very friendly and accommodating. A great mid-price option in a fantastic location on Hong Kong island.

Amazing stay at this hotel for our 5 day trip to Hong Kong. Location is amazing and so close to tram, bus and metro connections. There is a Starbucks downstairs for extra convenience. We didn’t opt for the hotel breakfast, instead there is lots of bakeries a short walk away near sheung wan station. The staff were extremely friendly, quick to respond to requests and went out of their way to accommodate us. 5 stars!!

The very best thing about this comfortable hotel is the location. Despite the hustle of Causeway Bay, the rooms are quiet. Comfortable beds in adequate pleasant space. Helpful staff- and when a surprise acute medical situation occurred this time- the onsite clinic became most helpful to me!! What a wonderful convenience. This is my second stay in 6 months. It will continue to be my top pick when in Hong Kong.

Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Hong Kong. Room was spacious for HK standards, decorated nicely with a vintage vibes. It was recently renovated so the facilities were really new. Service was good and attentive, and there’s a nice Italian restaurant on the ground floor. The place is within walking distance to the convention center and the star ferry terminal which you can take to Tsim Sha Tsui.

Location of the hotel was fantastic! My room wasn't ready upon arrival, however the staff did their best to get me some space to freshen up and get to work. The staff also quickly assigned a different room to me when the first one smelled heavily of smoke. I'd suggest this hotel if you want to be based out of Kowloon area and get to see the traditional part of Hong Kong!

location because it was very near sogo and other causeway bay shopping areas. walk to the mtr station was ok. if you get too tired you can use the elevator😬 we had connecting rooms. rooms were comfy for a group of 5. not too small for a hong kong hotel. housekeeping was ok too. they were fast and efficient. concierge people were helpful too and checkout was fast.

I stay in Hong Kong for 1 night many times. I tried so many hotels, but in this price range I always found really crappy places. For the amount you pay, you get clean and modern room, central wan chai location. Check in was quick and they even gave me the room earlier so I could refresh myself before going for meeting.

Great location at downtown Central within walking distance to most office buildings (and shopping centers). Very clean and delicate room. The lobby is surprisingly beautiful and tastefully decrorated. I was only looking for a place for a quick night sleep, but this becomes one of my favorite hotel in Central now!

Friendly service and nice spacious room. Loved the free shuttle bus services to nearby Wan Chai, Causeway Bay and Central. We booked a family room and had 2 queen size beds. Hotel provided child size bed room slippers, enough towels, a snack pack for the kids and a teddy bear mascot for keeps.

Micro hotel is the cheapest hotel nearest to Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The staffs are friendly. However, the staff attended late when we arrived in the hotel. They are now our friends. I love the place because its clean and beautiful.

The location was great in Central for business travellers however if a tourist wanting to explore Hong Kong, Kowloon would be better! The hotel staff were friendly. The lobby was lovely and light and much nicer to spend time in than the room.

Located in central Mong Kok close to all the action in Nathan Rd. Great price. We arrived late at night due cancelled flight. Hotel responded quickly to emails and check in/our v efficient. Great happy hour deals in hotel bar!

the room is not large but compared to many hotels in Hong Kong it’s not bad. I loved the view. The pub transport connections great. Took 45 minutes to Kowloon. Also airport close by.
