The room we originally booked was too small to fit a crib and luggage. Upgraded to a bigger room and it was much better. Location was good because the Shuttle Bus brought us to MTR station and mall easily and it's walkable distance to a few bus stops.

Hong Kong has a great public transport system and its easy to understand for tourists, it can transfer you to many different places and I love that there is easily accessible public transport going to touristy spots. A heads up to first time travellers to Hong Kong is that most of their establishment does not open til 10am so its something to consider in terms of having breakfast.

Hong Kong is definitely a at least a one time place to visit in Asia having a great mix of places on Shrines, Sky Scrapers, Shopping malls and great experiences on couple of theme parks. The public transport system I.e MTR rail and the busses are amazing with great connectivity across the city. The food may be a problem for those who are strict vegetarians with vert limited or no choices. The Shopping may also be quite expensive.

Disneyland was the only attractive place in Hong Kong.
Disneyland was the only attractive place in Hong Kong. Rest activity you can find in other countries as well. So if you are not a fan of Disney land you can avoid visiting here as the country is really expensive.
However, if you like to experience a high-tech country then Hong Kong must visit as it has maintained subways and public connectivity all over Hong Kong. The country is really clean and hygienic. Most importantly, you will see happy faces around.

We visited Hong Kong at the end of September, just before...
We visited Hong Kong at the end of September, just before China’s National Day (Oct 1), so the city was packed with tourists. It was difficult to walk through some busy streets, and dining in restaurants felt uncomfortable because the tables were so close together. We often had to share a table with strangers, which I know is common in Hong Kong, but I didn’t want to experience it every day—once in a while is fine.
Additionally, the restrooms in most restaurants were not clean.
I also noticed that the locals weren’t very friendly, possibly because they were too busy dealing with other things.
Make sure to wear good shoes, as you’ll be walking much more than usual—we walked over 20,000 steps every day.
The best parts were seeing iconic scenes from Hong Kong movies and visiting the M+ museum.

It rained for the first few days but it wasn’t too bad but it was enough to deter me from going out. It does get rather warm there so choose your stay wisely. There’s so much to see there and so many things to do. I’m definitely returning as soon as possible.

Websites not working ( Ocean Park) .
Websites not working ( Ocean Park) . Online maps not working and no paper alternative.
Poor staff training and lack of knowledge of tourism. Eg …. 75th Anniversary of communism but no one knows the best vantage point for viewing the fireworks display….constantly advised not to go….
Good value for money: central location pretty close to Jordan MTR station, rich food court inside the premises, fast check-in and easy going reception desk. No request to place deposit. The request to extend checkout time by 1 hour was accepted without concerns. Check out very fast too: just thrown the key in a box and left to the airport. A good choice for anyone willing to spend a few days in Hong Kong and enjoys hotels essentially for overnight sleeping.
The location is very good if you need to move around Tsim Sha Tsui and neighborhood. The hotel staff is helpful. The rooms are "hong kong size": means you cannot move much inside the room while unpacking/packing your luggage. But this is normal for HK hotels.
The price of the hotel is relatively cheaper compared to those in Hong Kong city areas. Stayed here for 2 nights to explore lantau island and to go airport straight after my stay. The hotel is within walking distance to the outlet mall.
- very central location
- hotel is directly connected to IFC mall and Hong Kong Station, from you can directly go to the airport
- amazing views from pool area and great pools
- great view from room
- very nice design
