The hotel is a bit older but the rooms are quite spacious and you can often get quite nice views of the water. While the bed, shower and furniture aren’t as nice as some of the other hotels in the area, price point makes this best value by far.
Staff was really friendly and courteous.
Also, room cleaning was most efficient and reliable I think I have experienced. Not once in three weeks staying there did I turn on the make-up room signal and not have my room cleaned upon my return, even if I was only gone for 45 min to an hour.

I visited on a 2 night layover from Thailand. It was not enough time in HK and so I only scratched the surface by visiting Victoria Harbor and Disneyland. The city is so clean and efficient, especially the subway system. I loved it!

It is too hot in the summer. I actually just wanted to stay inside. It was not as easy to shop as I imagined. But highly recommend heading to the Big Buddha and taking walks at night. Download the app for the Symphony of Lights, otherwise you won’t hear the music.

I loved Hong Kong!
I loved Hong Kong! The food was incredible, and there was something interesting around every corner. We also took several day trips out of the city and could have done several more if we had more time. The MTR, ferry, and tram made getting around very easy and affordable!

No one tells you that to walk around Hong Kong you mainly have to use the "footbridges". They are a little complicated to navigate but once you get the hang of it it goes smoothly and you can escape the humidity and hot temperature of the city.
The hotel was great! Although it is a very old hotel, you can't complain for the price 😁. It's situated on a hill, but you can get to Central Station with a free shuttle bus or affordably by taxi. The nightlife spot Soho is also within walking distance. The breakfast is good, although simple. I can only recommend the hotel if you are in Hong Kong for a few days and are looking for something inexpencive but still decent.
Location is fantastic, being a short walk from the Star Ferry (and metro station) it provides easy access to Hong Kong Island. Restaurants and Bars...Kowloon side are probably better quality.....depends on your taste. Food in the hotel is awesome .
