The outdoor pool area was wonderful, and I didn’t realize AC is hard to come by in Honduras but the AC in the room was WONDERFUL! The property is beautiful, and Wendy was so helpful. I felt like I was staying at a friends very nice house.

We recently spend 3 nights at the Utila Lodge and it´s my pleasure to review our experience. It would be difficult to find any fault with this hotel. The property is attractive, easy to find, close to everything downtown area. Staff at the reception, bar and restaurant, all made us feel like family there. The room was large and confortable, loved the wood floors, big bathroom with good shower, pressure and hot water. big patio area overlooking the water. You can hear the waves at night under the building. Had my best sleep here, no noise at all unlike in Roatan. Breakfast everyday was wonderful, never any hassles. We also did some diving with them, out instructors Nina and Julian were wonderful. The only guy we didn´t like was the salesman at the dive shop names Argen, too arrogant. We would definitely stay here again and we recommend to fellow travelers and divers.

I arrived late and in a panic when I realized I left my iPhone in the mototaxi. The staff were able to make phone calls and recover my iPhone. They were really friendly and helpful! Also, I had to leave early at 6:30 am for the ferry and they arranged an early breakfast for me -ready at 6:15. Very accommodating!
