The owner is very welcoming and knows a lot about the island. The staff too is adorable and very helping. You can feel that there is a good atmosphere.

Snorkeling in the dock was lovely, plenty of fish, more than what Ive seen diving actually.

United StatesI arrived late and in a panic when I realized I left my iPhone in the mototaxi. The staff were able to make phone calls and recover my iPhone. They were really friendly and helpful! Also, I had to leave early at 6:30 am for the ferry and they arranged an early breakfast for me -ready at 6:15. Very accommodating!

Utila was perfect. The people were so friendly and sweet. We felt really safe everywhere we went. The traffic with people walking everywhere was a little stressful, but everyone looked out for each other. The reef and snorkeling were exceptional. God is the master creator of all of the beauty to behold in Utila.

Utila is a great a chill location to spend few days.
Utila is a great a chill location to spend few days. However it is worth more than 2 days only if you are planning to dive for several days as otherwise it could get boring, as there are not many beaches or options. Pristine water, great coral (although not many fish and some of the coral is dead). It is worth a visit!

I went to Neptune beach one day but did not like it too much as the snorkeling was not so good. This private beach, accessible from a private launch boat, became very crowded as the day wore on. However, it did have a surprisingly good restaurant. (Tuna tower)…
There are three very good restaurants here: Mamuth, Mango Tango, and the newly opened Captain Willits.
The shore snorkeling was quite good at Coral View and they had a nice bar at end of pier. You can rent a bicycle at a hardware store just up the street from the main ATM near the ferry dock.

Utila is beautiful and there is much to enjoy.
Utila is beautiful and there is much to enjoy. The accommodation has a good location, the places where we went to eat were very tasty, I recommend going to Captain Morgan's and Mario's place, and personally Chepe's beach was very clean and the water was crystal clear.

The beach is the best place to reconnect with yourself; the beaches are very clean, the waters are crystal clear with colors that fade as you go into the sea, and Water Cay was the best experience, as was the friendliness of its inhabitants.

Utila is for travelers seeking adrenaline. If you're looking to relax, you should consider other options. Hotels in downtown Utila are very noisy due to the motorbike taxis; if you want to get some sleep, it's best to look for hotels further away. The best beach is Bando Beach; it's private, so you'll have to pay an entrance fee and for drinks at its bar/restaurant, but it's worth it.

This hotel has the rooms straight in the paradise, 20m from one of the most amazing beach in Utila, the staff is really friendly and helpfull, the food at the restaurant is great and there are corals and all the kind of fishes straight in the sea in front, perfect to snorkel at the sunset and sunrise(considering that the tourists are there till 5.30pm it’s basically a private beach at the sunset. AMAZING

Milady was a wonderful host and her property is beautiful with lots of trees surrounding the rooms and a nice social area with tables and chairs and hammocks to relax. She told us about all the activities you can do in Utila as well as the best places to eat (Mango Tango is really great!) and even has her own art gallery on the property. We had a fantastic few days.

Beautiful peaceful location overlooking the sea, with a pier and platform where you can watch the sunset from a hammock. Rooms are clean and comfortable with good aircon and private sitting area outside.
Best of all is the on site Tank’d dive centre - lovely staff, fast boat, modern equipment and small groups of divers.

Despite it is a bit far from the town center, the location is amazing, one of the best in Utila with the Coral Reef accessible from the hotel. The town is also at a walking distance by the sea. The team is very nice, specially Cecilia and Henry took good care of me and were extremely helpful.

We visited Utila for the 1st time. Normally we stay on Roatan. But now we will come back to Utila more often :) We had a great stay at Manurii and Can recommend it 100%.
