The Old Town is superb, stunning architecture and wonderful restaurants. Be aware! The stone roadways are lethal when wet, especially on the many staircases. The Old Town really is a "must see"
Dubrovnik is a beautiful city. Unfortunately overcrowded by tourists. Thousands of tourists, mostly coming from the cruise ships stopping at the port invade the very small city during the day. You need to go as far as you can from the main street to find a restaurant with friendly staff. I think this city accepts more tourists than they have capacity to handle. I first stayed there over the weekend and you could hardly walk on the main street and the tiny streets around due to too many tourists. When I cam back during the week it was much better but still crowded however we had a great tour with a local guide and I would recommend this rather then using one of those "audio guides" you can rent and which are quite boring. The cable car who is one of the main attractions was not working, so you need to check before you book a ticket online. It is worth a trip but I would certainly recommend to avoid the Summer season as well as staying in the city center with young children. Also be aware that you pay for everything, if you want to walk on the city walls, visit a tiny monastery garden... There are great activities for adults and groups around Dubrovnik like Quad or Buggy tours...
Being a World Heritage Site, Dubrovnik attracts many tourists...we were there in early June and found it to be busy but not as crowded as we thought. The people are friendly and helpful...the restaurants can be expensive, but considering the atmosphere that permeates the Old Town, well worth it. The museums and galleries are well worth visiting...as is the climb to the top of Mt. Srd, which is best done before the day gets too hot.
Dubrovnik is a fantastic place with lots to do day and night .The people are so helpful and friendly and the staff in the hotel were the best .We ate in a number of places along the boardwalk ,very reasonable and they couldn't do enough for you .Our favourite was Tutto Bene ,food was great with so many choices .Buses are available every 20mins around all of Dubrovnik they're cheap and a great way to see the city .We used taxis too and they weren't too expensive either .Can't wait to go back there, already planning our next trip
I was only there for 2 nights, not long enough to really experience it. Also, it was starting to get very busy with cruise ships in old Town. However, I had a fabulous dinner at the Orsan yacht club and a superb wine tour with Mario Sehic, which filled an entire day. I highly recommend both.
My first trip to Dubrovnik but definitely not going to be the last one. I think it's a perfect holiday destination for a awesome blissful break. The sea ,the old town, the beautiful houses is all that you need for a summer holiday. I didn't like the way Ppl take advantage of tourists (money wise). I understand it's a city that thrives on tourists but if you try to cheat once you automatically loose a customer for the second time.

Beautiful building, very quirky clean and modern. Fab shower with 3 settings, Netflix, fridge, amazing views from room 5. Situated in old town Dubrovnik- close to main areas of interest. Quiet area, very picturesque. We were able to check in earlier also, which made it easier to dump our back packs and make the most of the day :) there are about 40 steps to the property, and some very steep steps within the actual hotel....this did not cause us a problem however, but for some it may? Would recommend this hotel :)

Come to this property for the amazing service but fall in love with the old world charm of a small Tuscan Villa. From the moment you arrive the extremely knowledgeable and hospitable hotel staff go the extra kilometer to ensure you have all the tools to explore Dubrovnik but also the necessary creature comforts to just relax and soak up the Croatian summer sun😎. Only a 10min cab ride from the old town the hotel provides a welcome respite from the crowds and easy access to the water and the ferry. Enjoy!

The Apartment is very complete with all you need for a long Stay with free parking. 15 min walk from Dubrovnik old town. It is provided with air conditioning, confortable beds and 2 sofa beds. The owner welcomed us with Chocolate crepes/pancakes and natural juice. She also offered us some summer Dubrovnik fruits. We got dazzled with the owner kindness. We felt like home! I strongly recommend to everyone. It's better than a hotel.

Great place to stay in Dubrovnik... a quick and easy bus ride into the Old Town. Room is private, very clean, comfortable. WiFi worked great. Easy to find. Great value for money, especially because Dubrovnik can be quite expensive. Best of all, the owner is a super nice lady, very helpful and kind. We liked her very much- thank you for your hospitality! To prospective guests, don’t hesitate to stay here! We had a great time!

The location is great, you can park the car in front of hotel and the bus station just 3 mins walk. It's the best way to go to Dubrovnik old town. The traffic and parking is crazy there. Also there is a craft beer factory and big super market near by the kitchen facility is good. You can prepare your food. ( The price of restaurant in Dubrovnik is crazy comparing with other towns in Croatia ).

The best location in Dubrovnik old town, less than 5 minutes walk from Stradun (the main street). The apartment is very modern and clean, good air conditioner for the summer and kitchen. The host, Petar, was really kind and helpful with us, he recommended us what to visit, and he even walked us to the supermarket because we were lost. I would definitely recommend this place!

Everything was new and tidy. The pool is quite cool and there are good and cheap restaurants about 100 steps down the hotel. Do not forget anything ;). The Beach is also very nice and has more space than other beaches on Dubrovnik. To get to the old Town you have to take a bus which takes about 10 minutes and 2 euros.

The hotel is located on the sea shore (amazing sunsets!!). Everything was perfect: room with seaview (we had an upgrade to Executive double room), great breakfast, direct connection to the Old Town (about 10-15 minutes away by car/bus). The air conditioning in this place was great. I also liked the location, as it was close to the port and main bus station, and I got to see more of the local life but if you want to be walking distance to old Town Dubrovnik, do know you will need to take a short bus ride...
