You could eat as much as you liked with their a buffet style breakfast. It is a bus ride into the old town but there are plenty of good bars and restaurants near by.

Old town the walled in city is beautiful and clean with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. You can climb the steps of the walls. The old port was nice and they offer many tours. There are buses outside the walls that came pretty frequently. I did tours to the Elphite islands, Montenegro and Bosnia. All were good. Croatia and beyond is beautiful. I also did a city bus tour.

Dubrovnik was fabulous. the old town so full of history, great vibe, fantastic restaurants, shops, museums, churches. The town itself was easy to get around. we caught buses everywhere and enjoyed our stay immensely.
We didn't realize how hilly Dubrovnik was, and when we chose an AirBnB, we didn't ask about access from the road. We got a big shock, as we are oldish, and couldn't carry our bags ups 50 steps. so ended up booking into a hotel. Next time I will ask about steps from the road.
but it was all part of the holiday!

This place is like being back in time.
This place is like being back in time. The accessibility to Montenegro is great too, another place worth a visit. Lots to see and do, easy bus rides, great restaurants and shops and the Buza bars on the outer walls were amazing. Three days was enough to see everything and head off elsewhere.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and there was a good choice. The staff were efficient and always pleasant and courteous. The location was ideal for us as it was in a quieter area. The walk into Dubrovnik Old Town took about 20 minutes. The hotel itself was beautiful and had two pools and lovely views. There was a beach nearby which could be accessed via steps. We both had a wonderful stay and would certainly revisit this excellent hotel.
Spacious hotel, with a very nice location and a view of the bay. Pools clean and quite good availability of sunbeds throughout the day (and we were in the holiday season). The beach is also right next to the hotel. Very easy access to the Old Town of Dubrovnik, the bus stop is near the hotel. About 100m from the hotel there is a well-equipped, free playground for small children. Food with a short break served all day long.
The Rixos is an amazing hotel, the views are incredible and is within walking distance of the Old Town (around 4 euro using Uber). The food was exceptional (we stayed half board) as was the service we received. The hotel was clean and the facilities are as you would expect of a 5 star hotel. The Spa was lovely and was totally worth a visit. A wonderful and memorable stay and we can't wait to go back.
Small hotel, ideally located on pedestrianised area - lots of restaurants and nice bars nearby and beach just at the end of the road. 5 mins walk to bus-stop for Dubrovnik Old Town. Large, comfortable beds. Good air-conditioning, hot showers, quiet at night, good WiFi. Buffet breakfast. Pleasant staff.
Place is more hotel than hostel. A bus ride away from Old Town Dubrovnik. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Would recommend staying here!
