This traditional house is roomy with good beds and all you need, a good covered patio area outside with a barbecue and this is accessed through the kitchen/dining room. You're surrounded by green, plenty of parking, a few neighbours, very peaceful. The host introduced himself straight away. He invited me for beer and scotch - I was his first English speaker to stay - then I met his family in another house and was invited to join them - a mix of nationalities - eating barbecued meats, his own cakes and pear schnapps. I spent the whole evening chatting with them. It was lovely.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was a great place to come "home" to at the end of the night. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast and made special accommodations for us. The extra amenities at the river, or biking, are great ways to relax and enjoy the scenery. The town is beautiful and well worth the visit. We arrived very late, due to our flight, and they met us graciously at the late hour. The owners greeted us each morning, we had clean towels everyday, and it is one of the best places I have ever stayed at during a vacation.

Comfortable, nicely furnished apartment on a lovely little farm along the river. Hosts were kind, and provided fresh eggs from their chickens, and some other food. The place was clean and well stocked.

Reminds me of grandma house. Location is really isolated, not even phone signal is stable. For me, it was a good thing. Dog friendly, bowls were waiting for us. If you plan to take your dog for a walk, just be aware that there are "village dogs" walking arround without owners

    The house is in a village area, off-track, peaceful and...

    The house is in a village area, off-track, peaceful and terrific value. I was on my own on that day but it would be terrific value for a family, a big double bed and a small single in one room and two singles in another room. All the usual family house things are there, a home from home. The kitchen/diner has a table for six and there's another one just outside on the big covered terrace. The barbecue is a great big proper one. I needed a quiet sleep after previous noisy nights in Stuttgart and Calais, but not before I was entertained by the wonderful host and his family guests until gone midnight.
