Set in the National Park on Mljet Island, Hotel Odisej is located on the beach of Pomena. It is entirely air-conditioned and houses a restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available at the reception. Hotel is great, the staff were excellent and very professional and the breakfest was amazing! We cant wait to come back again!
Set in Goveđari, this air-conditioned apartment features free WiFi. Featuring free private parking, the apartment is located 50 metres from the Pristanište entrance to the Mljet National Park. Apartment is lovely decorated. Location is great, just 50m from NP entrance and 5 - 10 minutes walk from the Great lake. Our hosts were very pleasent, they gave us a lot of useful tips about Mljet's sites that helped us enjoy our trip even more.
Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and a shared lounge, House National Park Mljet offers accommodation in Goveđari with free WiFi and pool views. The apartment is very modern and we were well received by Ivan. The place is really quite and comfortable. We had a really good stay at this place which is located only 3 min away from the gate of the Natural Park. I recommend it without any hesitations.

Located in the beachfront in Soline near Goveđari, Guest House Pikala offers self-catering accommodation with access to a garden, terrace and bicycle rental. The property is set in Mljet National... What an amazing place! Lovely place to stay with friendly helpful people. The marine protected area of the national park has played a massive role in maintaining the diversity of species and allowed life to thrive - it has been a privilege to be a part of this wonderful ecosystem for a little while. The owners understand the importance of this area, their place, and their supportive positive attitude adds to this magical environment. If you love being in touch with nature, if you love looking beneath the surface of the water then you could very well end up loving this wonderful part of the world as we do now ❤️
The national park is beautiful, plenty of spots for swimming. We hired mountain bikes in Pomena and cycled into the park and round the two salt lakes stopping for swimming breaks. We also hired a scooter on another day and drove the Odyssey's cave which was breathtaking, quite a hike down there but so worth it!
Greate position, very nice hosts, warm water in the see-lake (even in spring, when the see is stil cold). This is the place to have active holiday or just to meditate on the balcony. Very nice hosts, helpful, but sensitiv and they live you alone (they just know!). You feel at home. We will come back, but for a longer time.
The most amazing place i have been in my life, up until now. If you love nature, and you want to relax on your vacations, work out, use your body, relax your mind and take off the city from your skin, this is the place to be.
Helpful reception staff and very clean. Food was pretty good and setting was very beautiful. Only down side was the very small room with a very small shower and no plug sockets. Bed very very comfortable though and it was a very quiet peaceful place.
Mljet is a lovely island but I'd recommend no more than 3 days. Beaches are mostly rocky and bus service is non existent. You can easily hire car or bikes. The national park is well worth a visit and includes free boat trip. Kayaks can be hired here. Great swimming in the lakes. There are plenty of restaurants and a couple of super markets as well as some market stalls in Pomena. Prices are cheaper than Dubrovnik.
Govedari is a very small quite village with very limited facilities. A village for locals which seems to have no supermarket, restaurants or bars. Nearest accommodation is on the outskirts (or possible considers with Govedari just) at a very small settlement called Babini Kuce located at on the lakes edge where there is a hotel with restaurant, called Mali Raj.
