Nice location, the sea is full of fishes, worth to discover the coastline, away from the main beach. The village has really narrow streets, full with apartments. Have to climb up to your accommodation, which can be hard, especially with small kids. In the harbour there are a few restaurants, with nice foods; a bakery which makes nice pizza (from 12 Eur). It is a small, nice, and peaceful place with two restaurants, a bakery (they always had some bread, even after 8 PM), a grocery store (meat and eggs are available only in the morning), and clean beaches. Pisak is a small village with a couple of restaurants, a bakery and an ice cream shop. We tried the two restaurants in town and they were excellent! Local food and wine is available with a beautiful views of the sea. Croatian food is delicious so try the Peka and make sure to order ahead. The fresh fish platter is also excellent! The beach is beautiful and the water clarity is unbelievable. It’s great for snorkeling. Pisak is also close to other towns on the Dalmatian coast. A short drive to beautiful Omis and to Makarska where ferry service is available to other islands. Pisak is located on the coastal cliffs so if you don’t want to go up and down the hill to access the beach, get a place near the water. Driving is difficult so plan on walking. The beaches in the city are mostly private or wild, and no one cleans up. The store in town is very small with a very poor selection of products. There is nowhere to walk, Locals are concerned only with making more money from tourists, but not with their comfort, the most unpleasant thing is that there is no respect for the sea that feeds them. Only within a few minutes walking distance were restaurants, few beaches, grosery shop and Supermarket. The apartment had quite a nice balcony with a sea view. The local people there were very warm welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was tasty. The owner of the apartment was very hospitable and welcomed us nicely. The view is really nice, the surrounding olive trees are nice. The air-condition is really handy in the evenings. The balcony is lovely.
